Why are you guys complaining? The only bad thing about this update is the sudden surge in Demoknights and the OP Tomislav and the Brazillians and Russians, and the good thing is we now have legions of terrible players to kill.
I totally LOVE F2P TF2.

I think it's funny that the only thing restricted by f2p is hats and the number of items you can hold.
If you really manage what weapons you actually use/want, then having only 50 slots to work with isn't -that- hard.
I keep seeing engineers build right outside of the BLU spawn in cp_gravelpit and then wait for the "incoming" enemy.

The nice thing about that, is that the ones that are going to want help are the new players that are actually interested in getting better.. not the ones raging because they died on their first time playing, or the ones asking for hats straight away :)

Not only that, but now what is arguably the best and most influential recent MP FPS out there is free to play, other AAA titles and developers may also have to lift their game. It mightn't seem like it, but this could be one of the most important occasions in multiplayer gaming history.

Playing a Heavy on valve servers makes it just like in the trailers for him now thanks to the newbies.
Mowed down the enemy team several times over on Gold Rush part 3, my minigun was shooting goddamn constantly, picking up ammo from the dead enemies, I had like 70 kills with ~9 deaths at the end of the round.
These new players aren't that bad, I think its cute seeing newbs learn how to play.

I just gave up and gone shotgun soldier.
Oh wow, suddenly the game is so different. No medics at all and the teams are horribly unbalanced... I was on the top of the scoreboard all the time and spies kept bumping into me :v:
Someone even asked: "how do I zoom in with my sniper scope?"
2 of my irl wouldn't play this game for their own dumb reasons.
One said the graphics suck and it's cartoony which automatically makes it bad (He loved the new MoH :v:).
The other said the game is just gay and barely even tried it.
Now they are both playing the game. :v:
