TF2 is now free-to-play - Games

It fun spectating the f2p players and watching them learn the ropes and improve slowly as they play. It's really intriguing. But until they get all better; TF2 is a no go game for me, it's no fun with no challenge.

As premium owners, we only have 2 different refuges. Beta, and our typical servers. Donating to our favorite servers can make sure we always have a spot in our "Elitist" community. I personally don't mind the F2Pers, but at a certain point, their questions get irritating, such as the "How do I zoom in" Anybody who's played a shooter on the computer knows that, if not, it takes all of 30 seconds to quickly rake the keyboard and mouse to find the right button. And the F2Pers wouldn't BE so bad if they actually followed instructions from their coach.

It was ugly looking and meant nothing to me. My IRL friends, who started playing TF2 just yesterday, received Mercenary which had a April 11 2011 date. I'm still happy with it.

One good thing about this F2P thing: New meat to kill. I got into a match and actually did decently instead of horribly due to those horrible spies and medics. Works both ways, though, as some medic didn't know how to use his ubercharge when we were in the heat of battle :\

I don't mind this so much anymore, I enjoy coaching competent people(not the full on retards who just won't listen to a thing), and the new players in random servers sometimes make for funny situations
