Honest Answer: I prefer vanilla TF2 servers. Those are fairly difficult to find, while all these custom game modes are freakin' everywhere.
Am I the only one who actually binded message explaining what's Ubercharge and how to deploy it?...

If you buy the retail version and redeem it on Steam you get the Proof of Purchase, Premium, and the TF2 Beta.

I for one hate this now (So now I get a generic hat that tens of thousands of other players have because they bought it also). Because TF2 is now F2P, it has clogged all the servers and I can't even play TF2 without my ping jumping from 60 to 1600 in 6 secs. Up until June 23rd, TF2 was great for me (been playing since November 2008) and now I'm contemplating quitting TF2 since I can't play it anymore. And this is some how fucking up my other steam games (HL2 and it's episodes, Portal which I don' care for, L4D/L4D2, Global Agenda which I just got into, and Alien Swarm so I basically have no games to play on Steam cept HL2, it lags a bit but I can still play it used to never lag). I may just sell my steam account.

And how does TF2 affect your other games? If it's all your games with high ping, then it's nothing to do with the Free players.

They could make everyone happy by just making the f2p version of TF2 a separate game on Steam called Team Fortress 2 Demo and make TF2 cost an actual price again.

Friends I've been trying to get into the game for ages are finally playing it, I want to be able to play with them.
Also that removes the fun of everybody being terrible because they're just starting.
