Why did your update for TF2 Suck?

How does your dispenser produce metal indefinitely in a self-sufficient manner? And with you being the only other link in the chain of dispenser upgrading, why doesn't it upgrade itself yet? (What I mean is like this. Dispenser gives you metal > You use said metal to upgrade dispenser > Dispenser is upgraded. Why not change it to Dispenser uses metal to upgrade self > Dispenser is upgraded. ? )
