The Pyro doesn't seem very maniac-like, though. It might be hard to see with him being mostly a mute/having no face and all. Sure, he laughs maniacally but that's about it. Everything else is just as sane as the other classes (which all have their slight sides to insanity, but none of them are completely insane.)

If they hadn't, the sheer amount of new users would have Steam chugging doing regular activities. They've obviously scaled them with the member growth, and haven't been too concerned with the sale-slowdowns because 90% of users aren't complaining.
