If it's "client timed out" then it's probably because you're launching TF2 by using the command: hl2.exe -game tf That won't let you stay connected to any VAC server for more than 30 seconds.

Idled for 7 hours last night..got nothing.

Well that's cool. Used textmode for the first time today, got all 3 of the new weapons. Already had the Pain Train but got another one today.

Is there a way to tell if a specific server has lost connection to Steam Cloud?

Are there any servers around you can recommend? Every server I've been to either shuts down after 10 minutes or kicks because of 'spectating'.

If someone's been idling for at least 12 hours, you can definitely join it. I've seen a server with people who've been idling for three days straight. Insane :v:
