This is great stuff. I've just got TF2 running in -textmode with -novid and -nosound, and it's using just under 15mb of ram... That's awesome. I've already found 3 random crappy weapons, so it's working great.
It's pretty much as good as the old SteamStats. Now I can have my spare PC at work idle for me while I'm unable to play, without it sucking up fuckloads of resources or bogging the system down (it's not the best PC in the world). That was what I liked about SteamStats - I could still use the PC to do whatever I wanted with absolutely no impact on resources or performance.

I used to idle without no preload and it took up 600,00 K of memory!
But when i switched to Captain -nopreload it dropped dramatically to 161,000 K!

Im working on the next update and once that's done, the new configuration system will be complete and I'll be able to make a new youtube video about it.

Screenshot? I've never seen it at less than 80MB of RAM usage.

Idling virgin here. Thanks guys, this means I can use my desktop (a really old Dell Dimension 2400; play it on my much newer laptop) to play TF2!
But a question: Does this put me in spectator? I don't want it messing up my stats.
