I would, and I've already tried downloading the HD version of the video itself and taking out the section he wants, but any more than what's there would go over the FP avatar size limit. Even the base .gif file is too big.

I'm going to be honest with you, even though your comics are sometimes funny, there is always that little something in them that pisses me off to no end, and I wouldn't even be able to explain why.
I think it has something to do with the posing, and the fonts. And how you're trying too hard to imitate comic books. There are some jokes that just don't work in GMod because you can't represent the same degree of emotion. That's mostly obvious with the comic you've just posted previously because the two characters you used have no faceposing at all. Yet, Calvin & Hobbes gets a great part of its hilarity from overdone facial expressions. You can have a great joke, but without the emotion that goes with it, it's worth nothing.
Try using other TF2 characters. With HWM models. Good faceposing. And focus on the faces. Then you might have something interesting.

It's just that there's no natural correlation between the type of humor present in [I]Calvin & Hobbes[/I] and Team Fortress 2's characters and style. I like [I]Calvin & Hobbes[/I] because it's [I]Calvin & Hobbes[/I]... oh, and because it's [I]drawn[/I]. It's like putting on a performance of [I]Macbeth[/I] with a cast of chimps dressed as samurai.
