I find CTF in general pretty boring and too much of a turtlefest. It feels to me like the enemy can just camp their intel and the enemy team is pretty much screwed unless they do the same. Plus matches take life 5 times longer than CP maps.

Too bad there's never a good server for it, period. I like Hydro pretty well, but no one is ever playing it. It's the least played official map of the game, I believe.
