one of the best games I've ever played, Alien Swarm is a badass game. can't say I didn't play it because I didn't want the hat. and damn, those parasites are annoying in that game.
I'm glad that Alien Swarm was free.Plus with hat and epic game.
The hat didn't really attract me to playing it. I wanted to play it since it is like L4D with lots of weapons, classes and such.
I wish it costed money, that way the hat won't become the new gibus.
I don't care much the hat (other than it representing one of the most annoying enemies in the game... although. No, I'd rather not speak of that), but damn, the game is great. I think it works great in tandem with other Valve games. The lack of content explains why it's free, but it makes lovely use of teamwork, one of the few things Valve games stride for.
Can anyone post a link to that TF2 story about what the classes did after they left their respective teams? Thanks.

Uh, no, that's not the case. I just don't want to see everyone wearing it, it will eventually get annoying seeing all classes running around with aliens on their head. Imagine if all classes had the brain slug and it was made publically available for free.

It is a fucking hat. Who cares it, I mean, it is not like it hinders your gaming experience. If you do not like it just wait for model replacements. Otherwise stop complaining about it and hunt down every bastard that wears it. Still it is not a bad looking hat.
