I noticed how the community makes predictions and stuff like that based on anything VALVe posts on the blog. for example: VALVe releases meet the demoman... in it, the demoman's nades distracted the sentry. 2 minutes later: *new thread* Sentry distracting nades? [editline]12:29PM[/editline] and most of them are stupid predictions with no evidence at all.

When they finally come to Facepunch, it takes them a minute to realize "Oh shit, saying this will probably get people to hate me because this apparently isn't Facebook". It took me about a month but there is still hope for women. As long as they're not retarded in general. In which case, they will never survive.

Most of us guys are introduced to the online communities at an earlier age mostly through games, where as girls more usually introduced to the internet through social networks like facebook, or Gaiaonline, or other things where the main focus is usually on the social part rather than a common interest. Most of the time we guys go to forums, it's to talk with other people about a common interest. Most of the time girls go to forums, it's to meet friends or make new friends. So sometimes when a girl goes exploring the other parts of the interwebs... they aren't used to how our part of the Internet works :3:
