Apparently Facepunch has been banned from TF2tp - Games

You know there's multiple trades listed every second, right? It's nearly impossible to get all the shitty trades, and it takes a while to sift through them all(plus, well, we have real jobs, and moderating tf2tp doesn't pay the bills). However, if you use the report button, it does help a lot. Though the report list page is a bit of a clusterfuck, with quite a few completely normal trades listed because hat barons think it's too expensive/ridiculous, or it's like, a level 0/100 hat/weapon that someone wants a Bill's for(which is actually pretty normal). But often it's someone offering a sandvich for 300 Offer Fists. edit: I'm that asshole who banned everyone on tf2tp until Feb/March(all unjustly, of course) until I stepped down and a different asshole started banning everyone instead.

I have reported all of the people who make unfair trades ALL THE DAMN TIME! None has been banned... Tf2tp needs new admins who actually check the reported people.

So if the guy sells it and the buyer gets his backpack wiped then that's gonna be a problem.

When TF2TP stops being so slow, admins stop being retards, lowballers stop lowballing so much and highballers stop overpricing their items so much, maybe it will be decent website. There are exceptions to mods, one mod that has dog as an avatar added me on Steam and just said "hey bro can you close that trade where you put in screamer". Seeing as he was cool I did it, and out of curiosity I asked how many people reported me and he said 12. :v: Unfortunately some other retarded mod banned me 2 days later for the same link, even after I already did what the first mod wanted me to do. TF2TP is honestly only being used this much because it's the only trading website around. If someone else made another stable one that doesn't have the flaws TF2TP has, I'm pretty sure it would get traffic fast.

I use TF2TP, and maybe half the time I get offers that I actually ask for. Otherwise that's the fault of the TF2 community itself (when I ask for [i]paint for paint[/i], that doesn't mean you should offer weapons. lolwut, seriously) so I never had a problem with the site specifically But after all this, I'm gonna have to change my opinion. It's got nothing to do with Facepunchers getting banned, because I'm not a "Facepuncher" so I don't really care that much. My problem is the drunken admin of TF2TP that bans people just because he feels like it simply out of rage or spite. He sounds like a real nasty, power-trip drunk. Fuck that. If I was moderator of TF2TP and saw that, I'd be like "welp im outta here" and start asking people who are working on new trading sites for a new internet-job.

If Valve were to slow down or stop the creation of those items eventually everyone would have the items they want and the economy would grind to a halt. Quite fascinating stuff really, an economy biased around goods created by one source then distributed in 4 different ways (drops, crafts, store, promo codes), its not an ideal system but its good fun to watch it from the sidelines.

CaptainInvictus you seem like a good admin. Tell me why there are so many crap ones around.
