Is there any downside to the Enforcer when using the Dead Ringer? - Games

That video was't from a 2fort 24/7 server and it is pretty op and needs the clock time affecting the DR aswell.

I wouldn't say that the Enforcer is OP. Lots of weapons are designed in a way that the downside is negligible for different play styles. For example, the Half-Zatoichi has no downsides if you equip the Targe/Screen + Ali Baba Boots.

Got a friend to give me his enforcer after seeing this thread. Being able to pick off snipers/medics/[b]demomen[/b]/scouts/other spies without having to rely on headshots is awesome.

Double recharge rate + some (pretty strong) drawback would have made the sword great and a viable sidegrade to the other demoknight weapons. Instead they gave it no real downside and let it make you nigh immortal by giving you a minimum 50% health after every kill + any random weapons/packs around. I think they meant for the ammo/health thing to be for the booties (no ranged weapons = no need for ammo, doesn't it make an absolutely incredible amount of sense to let ammo = health?) and someone just got stoned and cut and pasted the wrong code and they just didn't bother changing it

You cant get ammo. Thats a major downside. If you use the boots, and don't need ammo...you don't have any ranged.
