Again like dA, there could be "sort by popular" and "sort by new". Thumbs up/down like iTunes or YouTube should be good for rating, although out of 10 would be nice as well.

If somebody wants to rate something a 10, then obviously it deserves a 10 in their opinion. Just because one person thinks it's a crap skin doesn't mean it is a crap skin. If we restricted uploads by criteria as ambiguous as "good", then we end up refining the collection down to suit the tastes of whoever is in charge of filtering submissions. I'd rather be able to see everything the community has to offer, not just "Hellduck's favorites".
If you think a skin is undeserving of a high rating, then do your part and rate it appropriately. If a skin is truly bad, then one single person giving it a high rating won't counter everybody else giving it a low rating. This is why so many "bad" skins are left with high ratings on FPSB while great skins sometimes get mediocre ratings; not enough people are bothering to weigh in their opinion and rating on the bad skins, so the little kids who like skins like that rate it up and it stays up because people with elite, sensible tastes like yourself aren't bothering to go rate them down.

I'd like a rating system too though, although not like the one on FPSB.
I think FPSB's rating system is too complex.
It takes too long to complete a rating, which means people aren't going to bother to rate bad submissions much.
The 1-10 rating system also puts way too much personal opinion into the final rating.
I think a rating system like the one on youtube would work a lot better: Thumbs up, thumbs down.
It will mean that all a good rating does is to count how many people likes it, and the rating is very easy to apply. This would mean the ratings no longer depend on just personal opinions about it, but about how many people who think it is a good or a bad download.

The site is not working for some people, and it's not made by galago and filipe anymore, so it looks different.
I think a star rating system would be good.
5star, 4star...
I think 3 star would work the best, to be honest. It has the like and dislike as with youtube, while still offering the "3/5 stars" that a lot of people would find a use for at some point or another.
