I'm not surprised that Roxas won. I'm gonna guess that more that 3/4's of the GameFAQS community doesn't' even know what or who a "Heavy" is.

I don't give a fuck about gamefaqs, but Niko bellic is so much cooler than the Resident Evil chick.
Fucking sexy serbian accent.

I Googled his name and this was the first result.
Did somebody say GAYBOW?!
I like KH, but I like TF2 about 100 times better. Would have voted heavy if gamefags had left the poll up for 5 seconds.
Actually Roxas, in Portuguese, would mean something like 'Purple'. In a feminine and plural form.
Random things anyway. The only thing I can hope for now is that Sub Zero wins. Damn, how I loved MK and hated how I never knew how to do a fatality.
i really hate gamefaqs everytime final fantasy is in a poll every dumbass there votes for final fantasy

Fag purple.
Anyway, only people (or things) i support on there now are Samus, Glados, Ridley, Fox, and Captain Macmillan.
Anyone else notice that the Spy lost as well?

Out of thread, please.
Not really...As a person who used to watch Disney movies i was tempted to how square enix would pull it off.
I found the game however really fucked and retarded..Through the back story of 13 was quite different as when it comes to most stories it's more Hero vs villain but the idea of anti-hero's or tragic villains is quite interesting..I stopped playing the game after this and just found out what happened on the net..Good thing i did..
The story was quite extreme yet unlike other games was as much interesting as Half-life 2 or Watchmen

The 'games=kids' stereotype was around well before Nintendo and almost all of the go-to 'anime' games (Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Shin Megami Tensei*) are on the PlayStation. Well, okay, Final Fantasy started on Ninendo consoles, but the pre-VII installments were significantly less anime.
There are some exceptions, mainly on the GBA and DS (The World Ends With You*, Ouendan/Elite Beat Agents*, those weird anime adaptations with almost no gameplay that only get released in Japan), but they're generally less well-known.
*Proof that anime=/= bad, by the way.
I don't understand if this poll is about how popular they are or how they would handle a one on one with each other?

Nintendo's problem is that it doesn't even have to try to be good anymore to get tons of money and awards. Just make more Mario games and spinoffs and watch the cash come flowing in. They actually aren't very weaboo, although they do attract a helluva lot of them. I've been in the Nintendo fan community. It's an awful place, the people are just as ignorant as they seem and will buy anything with Mario in the title.
On the other hand, Jecht calls Tidus a fag.
Which he is. I only ever used the fucker in Blitz Ball, or whatever that damn game was called. His Sphere Shot kicked incredible amounts of ass if you could get it down, but I used every fucking character before I had used him. I used up Lulu and Yuna's MP and had them use their normal attack before I used him, he was always a shit level and I never once found any use for him when he wasn't.
But enough about a game that I only finished on my sister's game to see the ending - which was crap, by the way - and never really played much past that.
I played Kingdom Hearts, or at least the demo. It was fun, except the extreme lack of direction in quests. They'd tell you to go to the town square, for instance, but since there were no signs, some of the screen exits were somewhat hidden, and it was your first time to the damn town, you had absolutely no idea where to go. I actually wandered around in town for a solid 20 minutes before accidentally stumbling upon the boss fight they set up for me. To say nothing of the Alice in Wonderland world. I also heard the ending sucked, but, what're you gonna do? I haven't seen a decent ending to a new Japanese, or Japanese style, RPG in years.
where are the good old fashioned Final Fantasies? Kingdom Hearts Sucks.

GameFAQers base their whole idea of wether a game will be good on these factors:
A) Did I play another game in that series as a child?
B) Is it Japanese?
No to either of those means they won't like it.
The latter is kind of dependent on the former.
Up until the late 90s most western game developers were relatively obscure. Most of the ones people remember from before then were Japanese. Nearly all of the current Japanese developers around today are ones that survived from the 90s, many did so by leeching of their established fanbases.
