-Opens it up- -Wonders where the soundpack is- Uhhm, Miss Alia?
Anyway, the Model is beautiful, and I can't wait to play with it. You've outdone yourself. The Spy is easily the hardest model to modify, due to Source Engine blockades, but you did it, and we're all amazed at your hard work.
Yeah, I'm retarded and forgot to zip that up with it. It's there now, that's what happens when you do these things at work.
Could you release it for GMOD with Bodygroups?
Ex.
* W/ cigarette , w/out cigarette
* W/ glasses , w/out glasses
I don't know anything about gmod, but I can look into it. It would be easy enough to remove those things, though.
This fits the artstyle great, too bad the Spy's hats are mostly male. I really like the way you covered her face.
If I had no intention of getting this released this century, I would have redesigned a few of them. I would still like to change a few of them in future updates, though.
I'll whip up a lovely little promo for you.
Sweet, thanks!
That looks amazing, Valve should consider adding a gender option if we can get a female model for all classes that looks excellent.
Female Spy with default Familiar Fez. Two sets of glasses. DAT CLIPPING.
[editline]16th February 2011[/editline]
You did a great job on this. Sadly, I'm not going to use it, because it'd change the personality/character of the Spy some sort of.
Edit: Sorry ChemicalAlia, I didn't download the Spy at the time I posted this and didn't know you put a new model for the Fez into your folder. Excuse my stupidity.
Requesting a video.
Im sorry where is the cleavage

Anyone else getting this? I'll test it out at game hour today, but there should be a smaller fez model with no sunglasses.
Alia, you've done it again. I don't know how you manage to make all this awesome stuff!
Is there any reason why you don't bake AO's but paint them instead?
I guess you're not going to comment on this.
Holy shit, this has some really good voice acting. Most fan made voice packs are utter shit.
Nice work dude, people waited for this some time, however she still looks...kinda manly mainly because of certain poses :smith:
Good stuff.

How about a jiggleboned Fez?
Alia, did you ever get the soundpack fixed where it wouldn't play on the domination sounds?
I guess you're not going to comment on this.
I didn't model out a full high poly model, just did certain spots on this. That said, I did use Max 2011's occlusion map generator for a quick ambient occlusion as a guide, and touched it up from there.
Next time I'll probably be working high to low. I'm a hard-surface modeler, but I want to start doing characters the "character modeler's way." This will require me actually learning Zbrush, but that's a good thing because I need a reason to do that.

That's nuts, I strike these poses at least twice a day.
How about a jiggleboned Fez?
The original fez I submitted for Polycount actually was jiggleboned. It would be easy enough to add that back in for one.
Alia, did you ever get the soundpack fixed where it wouldn't play on the domination sounds?
We're not sure what's causing that. It's hard to reproduce that in-game, but last I heard from DustyOldRoses, those sounds weren't playing at all.

You're baking shadows not normals, you don't need a high poly model...
God, this voice... :h: I love it!

leave it to the professionals
God, this voice... :h: I love it!
I second this. I just downloaded just to listen. Seeing that there is a actually good sounding voicepack, I might actually use this.

I think you mistaken normals for ambient occlusion.
I suggest using ambient occlusion instead of painting the shadows on. All you need is a finished UV map. No "occlusion map generator", whatever the hell that is. It saves time, and as Swizzle pointed out in one of his tutorials, it makes for the depth in Tf2's textures. In oder words, that's the style of Team fortress 2.
The closest bake to what Valve uses is method 2 in this guide.
It's a brilliant model, but the lack of ao around things like her buttons (which makes them look like they're disconnected from the model) really reduces the quality of it.
Well its about damn time.
This is the best mod for tf2.

I don't see you making anything. :colbert:

Nah, we're talking about the same thing. I normally bake AO from the high poly, which is why I mentioned it. It looks like that guy's method is using a skylight, which I believe is essentially the same thing the tool in Max I used does.
That said, though, you're right about there being no AO around the buttons, thanks for bringing it up. I hadn't even noticed that, I'll get some on and update the textures tonight. Also, if you're not noticing it at all, it might need to be darkened overall as well. Any other thoughts on that?

Absolutely amazing. I remember coming across this a while ago, didn't think I'd actually get to see the finished product.
Thank you for not overdoing her chest size
So did you fix the lack of mouthmovement? :v:
I love how she she says "handsome rouge" sexually when dominating another Spy, but surely they're both female? Lesbian Spies, eh? :pervert:
Does it have LODs?
So did you fix the lack of mouthmovement? :v:
Mouth moves. The synchronization is kind of weird, though. I'll be looking into that, and what would need to be done to get it lip synced.
Does it have LODs?
Yes, but just one right now. I'll be adding lower ones. I'll be doing that for the other models too.
