I think this is a thread specifically for Alia's character model, not your own. Get your own thread for that.

Thank you for letting me know. I'll do just that.
Wow this is nice.
I just have one question. Is there a way to make it so that I have both the male and female spies at the same time without both of them having the same voice?
Sorry for the bump but
Is there any chance you could compile this in an alternative folder? ie models/custom/femalespy.mdl? That'd allow people to put her in maps and gamemodes. Thanks!

(And by people he means himself, and by putting her in maps/gamemodes he means he's a wizard and plans to code magic into the very fabric of TF2.)

You can change a models internal file path without having to compile it again by editing the MDL file in a text editor. If the length changes just remember to add/remove null characters to keep it the same.
That looks amazing, Valve should consider adding a gender option if we can get a female model for all classes that looks excellent.
And they omit the Heavy. :v:
On a side note, they're a third the way, I've seen a female Medic and a female Scout.

I've never really figured out that jazz, sadly.
If I used mods, I'd probably get a huge headache over whether to use this or the stylish spy :P

I alternate. v:v:v

If you've used a hex editor before or change binary values then it should come naturally but it can be tricky as one wrong change can corrupt the file. I am writing a PHP script to do all this for you but it'll be a while before it's safe enough to release to the public.
Hello old thread,
So when I was using this mod a few months ago I noticed something was off, when she spoke her mouth did not move. After I did some digging to try and find out why that was … Long story short I lip-synced all of the Fem Spy wav files, so when she talks her mouth will now move.

Cleared by Chemical Alia and DustyOldRoses
Also, if you used DustyOldRoses Female Spy Sound Mod to the Mod: Gender Correct lines she added these to it so download it again.

If the community ever gets around to making female models for all 9 classes that are amazing there should totally be a Female update.
amazing model chemical, all your Tf2 stuff is really.
7000th post so yay

Oh man, thanks so much! I might go back and touch up some of the phonemes now that you can actually see them. I'll test these out and then add them to a new update with credit to you, if you'd like.

That would be great, thanks.

I'll say it again for good measure: thanks so much! IanSuffix told me after his editing that the voicepack would not have phonemes, but I'm glad someone took the time to do it. Many kudos to you. You've also been credited on the Mod to the Mod page.

Well thank you, I believe it was worth all the work.
The Female Spy needs updated for the new torso replacement as well as more hat fitting
How would the new turtleneck item work on the female spy model...?
How would the new turtleneck item work on the female spy model...?
Don't know, haven't even seen it yet. Wasn't even aware there was one or how it is implemented.

It's just a turtleneck and sleeves model that goes right over the shirt/tie portions of his outfit. player/items/spy/tneck.mdl
However, the female spy doesn't wear what the male one does, so what would the turtleneck model be for her? If that makes any sense.

Oh, well I'll have to figure something out. Whether it's a different accessory or hiding the model. I don't know how bodygroups really work, but she is wearing a turtleneck coat underneath the scarf...
Like I said, character mods are like a leaking dam D:
hex rose for turtleneck, call it a day
Cool! But I could never skin anything in TF2, except for fixes and that better ubercharge skin thing.
My doctor made me keep a cast on my arm for another week, thus prohibiting me from getting to do certain other things I had planned that involved a functioning dominant thumb, so I decided it might be a good opportunity to bring the Spy model up to date with the new stuff.
I also went back and made some changes to her, by adding some more details and changing some things so the model looks better without the scarf. I was thinking a scarf-less version could be cool for that turtleneck version or whatever, and it seems like I can recompile the model with the scarf as a separate bodygroup with no problems so far v:
Just about done re-texturing it, but unfortunately I made just enough changes that I'll have to re-skin and redo the faceposing. Hooray for practice!

Do you plan on redoing her hair, for the scarf-less model? Now, it just looks... Off...

I'd rather not have to do that for something that'll be used with only one item. The hair is very short right now so it can fit under the scarf, nothing more. It would have to be some kind of hair attachment, if anything.

Some crappy thumbnails for hair attachments before I fall asleep.

I like #3, can't go wrong with a little Audrey Hepburn.

Especially if you pump up the eyebrows to phenomenal leves.

oh, it would be lovely to see her wearing those earrings too.
Why not turn the scarf in a different hairstyle?
