So, it's a flamethrower with a different visual style...
No you'd actually have to hold it on your target unlike the flamethrower where you can just run into a room 360'ing around and setting everything on fire
I prefer Forever Autumn
No you'd actually have to hold it on your target unlike the flamethrower where you can just run into a room 360'ing around and setting everything on fire
So its a flamethrower without afterburn.
I prefer Forever Autumn
Its not bad either. Eve of War also has to be mentioned.
Wait until the end of today to say that.
If this was a multi-day update they would have released the Grordborts stuff on the last day, along with whatever else
If this was a multi-day update they would have released the Grordborts stuff on the last day, along with whatever else
I hope that there's more and they're just giving us bits of the entire thing in increments so the Steam servers aren't pounded all at once on release day.
If this was a multi-day update they would have released the Grordborts stuff on the last day, along with whatever else
You can never tell with Valve, they might have suddenly changed their ways like with the Mann. Co store and F2P.
If this was a multi-day update they would have released the Grordborts stuff on the last day, along with whatever else
Comic-Con starts today They probably wanted to allow people to immediately claim their Bison today.
Maybe, but I don't see why they'd change how they do multi-days now if they've been doing it the same way since the Heavy update
Maybe, but I don't see why they'd change how they do multi-days now if they've been doing it the same way since the Heavy update
You saw how slow their servers got once the Uber Update went live, maybe they've decided that incremental patches are a less taxing alternative to that problem.
I noticed something about the view model.

Valve loves trolling and surprising folks so much, its really hard to say what they might do. I mean has Robin or the TF2 team explicitly stated that the Victory Pack was all there is?
Have the pins already been released, i noticed they're the only ones in the manifest that don't have their quantity (50) blurred out.
Yes. [editline]21st July 2011[/editline]
I noticed something about the view model. CAN I HAVE DEREC T H IT
I noticed something about the view model.
But instead of milk it lactates hot plasma.
Not confirmed, but it is believed this could be a new Sentry. (I'm not feeling it though)
It will probably have a very low fire rate.... I hope :tinfoil:
Knowing TF2 Devs, Nope.
all together the Steampunk Pack
They pyro should get a hit scan heat ray with no ammo that has no damage falloff.
I'm gonna use name tags to rename the cow wrangler the "Tesla Cannon", and the righteous bison the "Alien Blaster".
Don't get your hopes up for additional packs. First of all, this Grordbots thing has been around since at least 2008/2009, and that sentry was probably designed years ago. The only reason it was released on Wednesday instead of Thursday is because Comic Con starts today, so they need to have the weapons out in order to get a voucher. Also, WETA is advertising their soldier pack kinda heavily, I mean check out this: http://i.imgur.com/PjGvd.jpg I can understand WHY people think there could be two more updates (two more days this week, two rockets etc.) but I think it's a coincidence more than anything.

Holy crap, I just remembered something - The Soldier got a new item pack, and Doe's Dumpster Pack is still coming. Robin said at one point that the pack was coming in, but there wasn't room for it in past updates. If that sonofagun gets ingame too, I'ma need a whole page of my backpack just for Soldier stuff. Gross.

However, Valve put a hideous pile of work into this if this set is all we're getting. Think about it - new death animations for each of the classes, a new particle system, new properties for weapons (railgun-style bullets going through people), and even some totally new stuff (removal of ammo). That's a LOT of crazy stuff, and it seems like a massive waste of time to do all this effort for it to be used once. Although it could just be an encouragement for the community to try more Telsa/electric stuff.

The biggest thing that has given those Poor and Texan engies out there some hope is that the soldier only got 1 rocket the comic. I mean if it was just going to be that one rocket, why put three in the game? Valve knows its community, whether the company likes to oblige their wishes and wants or not. Even they know that adding just one grocket in the game would have sparked intrest and tinfoil hat wearing That begs the question that I ask, why did they add three?
The special promo code only gets you the bison, and it's untradeable. A regular old bison untradeable

That would fit with the tf2 maps being all connected.
