Also lmao Heavies will get raped now by alternative fire of new rocket launcher.
okay so let me get this straight the charge shot for this rocket launcher doesn't just light the directly hit target on fire it doesn't just have double the splash damage of a normal rocket it doesn't just crit people who are hit with it it doesn't just do a base of 150 damage on direct hit but it also does zero fucking damage to you no matter what range you fire it at? valve what the fuck are you thinking oh my god how would you even fucking thing this is balanced
it can't do self damage, did none of you see the itemtest video on the previous page
Oh god damnit itemtest. It does have self damage, item test gives god mode or somthing, I checked with other rocket launchers.
Regular style reloading but infinite reserve ammo, that sounds familiar :v: [editline]Gang Garrison 2, if you didn't quite catch it[/editline] I hope the other 2 rockets are sign that we'll be getting more, hopefully for the classes that need weapons more than Soldier.
hopefully for the classes that need weapons more than Soldier.
Demoman and Demoknight?
I wish I never submitted my fucking pack.
Hey guys, let's make an infinite ammo, high-speed rocket that can't be reflected, and make it have stupid particle effects and be able to deal mini crits and stun sentries... and have it light people on FIRE! Ugh. I was trying to play some tf2, but the entire enemy team was soldiers using this shit. It's fucking ridiculous. The particle effects are massive and really fucking annoying, especially the charge shot. They block your view when there's a ton of soldiers using it, and rape fps. Thanks, valve.
Bought this set, pistol thing is OP, rocket launcher is OP as fuck.
"Visit the WETA booth at Comic-Con 2011 to receive a special promo coupon" Great, a big "fuck you" to every player who isn't from USA.
it can't do self damage, did none of you see the itemtest video on the previous page
just tried it, yes you can. You can also rocketjump

I've tried out the pistol; It seems like it's geared towards wearing down advancing groups of attackers so backup can easily mop them up, ideally at a corridor or chokepoint where even the Medics hiding in the back have no option but to get injured (or even outright killed if previously wounded bad enough). Feels a lot more like a Pyro or defending Engie concept than Soldier, but maybe that's just me.
:/ Can't rocket jump AKA, the rocket launcher has a HUUUUUGGGGEEEEE unnoted downside.
What is your dumb ass smoking, I can rocket jump fine.
"Visit the WETA booth at Comic-Con 2011 to receive a special promo coupon" Great, a big "fuck you" to every player who isn't from USA.
You can craft, find and buy the items.
It's the space pistol projectiles that cannot be reflected, rockets can be deflected still.
Have you tested this?
i like how valve put pyro and spy unique characteristics into this weapon, it disables sentrys and set people on fire if they survive the chargedshot
Have you tested this?
No, but I can read.
It's the space pistol projectiles that cannot be reflected, rockets can be deflected still.
Nope, you can't deflect lasers with air.
Nope, you can't deflect lasers with air.
You can't reflect rockets with air either, but you could read the attributes and realize that it's the PISTOL that has that attribute.
Nope, you can't deflect lasers with air.
You can in TF2!
Next update: The engineer removal and overpowered soldier update Give the space pistol to the engineer, please.
NOTE: The rocket launcher does have self damage and can rocket jump, item test provides god mode, I apologize. Video up and compressing.
itemtest is broken and does not give you the correct attributes for the guns
I just have to say this is like giving a new bat to the heavy instead of the scout. Not some sort of club, just a baseball bat. The engineer obviously deserved that. I'd be surprised if Valve didn't think of giving them to the engineer first. At this point I think they're just playing us, or just being soldier fanboys.
You can't reflect rockets with air either, but you could read the attributes and realize that it's the PISTOL that has that attribute.
Yes you can, if you compress air and push it out hard enough, you'd be able to reflect it.
