Because Telltale can't update there engine
They do. That doesn't stop their engine not being as versatile as, say, the source engine. To do a full overhaul from point 'n click adventure to a side-view fighting game would likely take at least a year and a half.
Own both Penny Arcade Rainslick games...awesome fun. Shame it was HORRIBLE shame they were cancelled. Been a long-time fan of Sam and Max- nothing really to add there. I don't know what game the fat guy comes from but odds are it's horrible. -1. Strong Bad...was never a fan of Homestar, nor have I played the games. The email videos tend to be really funny though.
:frog: You're on a VIDEO GAME FORUM and in the TEAM FORTRESS 2 SECTION OF IT

Perhaps they're gonna tell us why these guys are together, then release the game at a later date?

Actually, due to the nature of the game, it could very well be in the Telltale Pilot Program. I can see a crossover game fitting right in.
About 84 or so hours left until the truth is revealed. (3 and a half days)
Best Case Scenario: Its something badass like super smash brothers Worst Case Scenario: Its a bunch of stupid trading cards or something
Telltale VS Valve: The Trading Card Racing Combat Game Featuring Louis, Gordon Freeman, The Heavy, Max, Sam, Tycho, Strong Bad and more! Use cards to summon weapons like the Lugermorph and Gravity gun! And don't forget explosive power-ups like PILLS, PSYCHIC TOYS, and the rare BEER BARNEY OWES YOU!

Please be something like this :aaaaa:
Dear everyone, In Texas Hold'em, your cards are on the table. You can take a chance to look at them, which is just flipping them over (at least in the Telltale version.) I watched gameplay of the Telltale version, and the characters have always had two cards on the table at once. The options in TTH'E are Fold, Check, and Bet. Not to mention Max is making a fist, holding a gun, and Strong Bad is jumping into the air. Sounds just like a game of Texas Hold'em EDIT: /sarcasm
But like you said, Texas Hold 'Em has 2 cards, Heavy and Penny Arcade guy are holding 3.

Do you know how hard it is to clean jizz that is lodged in your cranium? :colbert:

And again, they're holding three cards, not two. I really hope this is a E-Trading Card Game done right. Most of the ones that exist suck and are imbalanced to shit to whore as much money as possible. But with four awesome companies contributing, it can't go wrong.

hey hey hey, 4 days before my birthday! so if it's good, i can get it :D
I've got a show 2 days after so I can use money from that for the preorder!
Is there anyway to download the track?
Right-click, save as.
Not to mention Max is making a fist
Do none of you play Sam & Max? His hand is open! Why is their so much speculation about that free hand? It blows my mind that people would think he's making a fist or as someone said before, holding cards! The Heavy's cards aren't rounded! Tycho's cards aren't rounded! Why would Max's be!?
Actually, due to the nature of the game, it could very well be in the Telltale Pilot Program. I can see a crossover game fitting right in.
What is the Telltale Pilot Program? Never heard of it.
Unless Sam suddenly has three fingers, he has a very round hand.
First: Max. Second: He has 4 fingers but of course his thumb may be folded over his palm
First: Max. Also ok sure whatever I don't see how this bothers you as much as saying he's holding cards but ok
let's just wait for PAX. Then we'll know.

Like someone standing in my way and they realize I'm there but don't try to move or hurry up. I think it falls in that category.
Max's fingers are a hot button issue.
Wait until we find out he's flipping us off EDIT: 500 posts! :toot:
Thread music while we wait. It'll probably be a card game in the end, but with some kind of twist.
Anyone know if the Sam & Max season finale comes out the 30th or 31st on Steam? The last one was a day late, I think.
