While we are on the topic of Talltale games, should i get the penny arcade games? both of them are 9$ all together so.
Not to mention Max is making a fist, holding a gun [...] Sounds just like a game of Texas Hold'em
:v:
While we are on the topic of Talltale games, should i get the penny arcade games? both of them are 9$ all together so.
I played the trial of it ages ago and I enjoyed what little bit I played. Haven't played the full games though. All I've really fully played of Telltale is Sam & Max Season 1.
Why would they fly all the way to PAX East, get the fans of all four companies excited, and make such an epic teaser for a mundane thing like Texas Hold Em'? And again, they're holding three cards, not two. I really hope this is a E-Trading Card Game done right. Most of the ones that exist suck and are imbalanced to shit to whore as much money as possible. But with four awesome companies contributing, it can't go wrong.
Ugh. I'd rather get a traditional card game.
But like you said, Texas Hold 'Em has 2 cards, Heavy and Penny Arcade guy are holding 3.
What if the game revolves around Heavy and Penny Arcade using cards that they don't know that can control the future?
We're looking too "in the box" at this. Everyone's thinking they're playing cards. What if they're tarot cards, or something similar to Yu-Gi-Oh cards in the show, where you place them down and the object in it pops out?
Thread music while we wait. It'll probably be a card game in the end, but with some kind of twist.
Wont last till thursday!
Wont last till thursday!
Will this do? http://www.youtuberepeater.com/watch?v=sbHkgWD3gk4
The real story is that they all have "the gift" which allows to use the toys of power.
Telltale VS Valve: The Trading Card Racing Combat Game Featuring Louis, Gordon Freeman, The Heavy, Max, Sam, Tycho, Strong Bad and more! Use cards to summon weapons like the Lugermorph and Gravity gun! And don't forget explosive power-ups like PILLS, PSYCHIC TOYS, and the rare BEER BARNEY OWES YOU!
You forgot Guybrush Threepwood, and the Voodoo Cannonball.
The real story is that they all have "the gift" which allows to use the toys of power.
I don't think they're gonna go with psychic powers again. The Devil's Playhouse is awesome, but I think that'd be milking it a bit, don't you think so?
inb4 it'll just be a (boring?) card game.
I don't think they're gonna go with psychic powers again. The Devil's Playhouse is awesome, but I think that'd be milking it a bit, don't you think so?
Yeah but imagine the commedy potential if you could use mind reaging or Ventriloquism in tf2 or SBCG4AP!
Yeah but imagine the commedy potential if you could use mind reaging or Ventriloquism in tf2 or SBCG4AP!
Wouldn't be all that fun to be honest. Maybe it'd be funny if you read the heavy's mind to hear the announcer mid-order, something like "-ntrol point is being contested!", but that's it.
I don't think they're gonna go with psychic powers again. The Devil's Playhouse is awesome, but I think that'd be milking it a bit, don't you think so?
Yea, I don't think that they reused any items in the series outside of the "Big Gun" of course.
While we are on the topic of Talltale games, should i get the penny arcade games? both of them are 9$ all together so.
Penny Arcade Games were made by Hothead so that was a pointless segway. Also, it makes me laugh that even though I don't read Penny Arcade, people think Tycho's name IS Penny.
It's funi when people are presumptuously stupid.
Yea, I don't think that they reused any items in the series outside of the "Big Gun" of course.
And the bug, but that was Season 2.
And the bug, but that was Season 2.
The listener bug made it to Season 2, eh? I haven't gotten to play it myself since I don't have the $$$$ for it.
yea till someone killed him. I think
My fucking Youtube account got suspended because I uploaded the GTTV L4D Sacrifice review.. so now the OP tagged video doesn't work. Fuck you Google.
yea till someone killed him. I think
Awwwr, spoilers :c
My fucking Youtube account got suspended because I uploaded the GTTV L4D Sacrifice review.. so now the OP tagged video doesn't work. Fuck you Google.
Dammit. Removing video, then...
Pretty sure telltale uploaded it to their youtube account at some point. [editline]VIDEO![/editline]
Awwwr, spoilers :c
Oh crap. Sorry
Strong Bad is short for this reason or the chair is just gigantic. I haven't gotten to season 2 yet.
Cards? I don't like the looks of that.
The fact that anyone is willing to feature Strong Bad in a game gives me hope.
The fact that anyone is willing to feature Strong Bad in a game gives me hope.
I guess you missed the 5 games of him made by the same company then.
Everyone will get their hopes up, imagining some amazing super smash bros. style brawler, or some sort of Marvel vs Capcom 3, incredible fighter.
If anyone legitimately thinks it could be that, they're an idiot. It's being made by a company who have made ~32 point 'n click adventure games, 1 logic based puzzle game and 1 hold'em game, each using the same engine and development tools.
