I'll just be sitting there clicking buttons , only reason I would by it is to hear the character lines

Learn it? It's pretty simple. You have to get certain combinations of cards, then bet chips and whoever has the best cards wins the whole pot (all the chips). And if your cards suck you just fold and wait until the turn is over so you don't waste more of your money. You can probably find more detailed rules somewhere, and a list of the combinations you can get (pairs, three of a kind, four of a kind, full house, flush, I forget).
If I remember correctly the shittiest cards are the 3s, then it goes up until the aces and the best ones are 2s.
