Everyone is just disappointed because they see all the work from telltale and expect them to stick to one genre. No, let them do what they want. If they want to do a card game involving hilarious characters then let them make it. Nobody says you have to play the game, I actually hope they don't pull another pre order exclusive item either.

Two things Telltale has never done is make a poker game or a multiplayer game. Hopefully they make this multiplayer and not just some AI play for the lulz game.

I doubt the whole game will only last half an hour. Assuming the game will remain single-player-only with the same gameplay as their first Poker game it would provide at least two hours of gameplay before getting remotely boring to me.
