• Item drops farther apart?

Yeah I always craft my items, I haven't used an equalizer in 5 months
Wasn't the whole point of the new system was to make sure people didn't have have a difference in drop rates? To prevent people from receiving little drops, while others receive a lot? We may as-well revert to the new system if things are going to continue like this. I only got 4 items this week.
As someone who is unhappy unless they have at least 2 of every unlock, this makes me go WTF. Even having to craft my 3rd dupes with one another because I have no space left makes me feel icky.
Ok see, that's what I don't get. There is no logical reason to have two of every unlock. You will only use one, at any given time, ever. I am actually pretty organized with my backpack. I have one column per class on the first page (If I get dupes of any unlock, I always turn the lower-leveled one into scrap metal), then the second page is split up into halves. Left half is for hats/misc and right side is for all the dupes I can craft into scrap metal, all my metals, and tokens.
I can't stand people that craft away all their unlocks. Just started using a weapon that I thought I'd despise forever, the FaN, and I'm having a whale of a time. Don't see why you'd throw away any options for visual bullshit.
Why because I don't play any other class, just scout and only use his default loadout I don't need the FaN because I play better with the scattergun. Why need any other unlocks when I could just craft them together to get a cool hat for my class I'm never going to use the other stuff so why not?

Hats do LITERALLY nothing, rather than nothing at the moment. A time could come when the Natascha is your only defence against a full team of Scouts, but you crafted one away so you could get a hatless Heavy. Then you'll feel silly. As soon as that hits I'll probably turn everything into metal like normal.
Yeah I see your point but honestly I just never use any other weapons so I might aswell make some use of the stuff. If there was a full team of scouts I would still go scout :P

i got 1 item this week. Played for like 2-3 hours after I got it and no items. ???? >:(
The drop system works by giving you a drop, and every drop after that it extends the time between drops till you hit your drop limit.
For some time there was nothing, then I got 3 items at once, and since then (15 hours playtime or so) nothing.
Didn't they say you won't be able to craft polycount items?
That e-mail was proven false.
