Same here, i got interested in the game, read the wiki and watched some gameplay before i had a chance to play it.
What the game needs is a completely obligatory tutorial that must be completed before you can join internet servers. Movement, attacking, "know your objectives" with payloads caps and flags, and some basic class abilities.
Signed up. The guys I've tried to coach on TF2 all haven't had mics. :frown:
This is one of the best things I've ever seen coming out of a gaming community. Instead of raging against new players, lend them a hand and help them so that everyone can have a better experience.
I'd join too, but I'm in the middle of my exams. If this is still active in two weeks, I'll sign up :buddy:

Yeah I'm new but I know the basic gameplay from when I had the Orange Box on Xbox 360 several years back. Only thing I'm new to really is all this items, crafting, and whatnot.

Crafting and stuff was alot easier before the Uber Update when it had a more simpler interface. I can barely navigate around the new one to get what I want - when I've been playing since early 2009 :sigh:
