But yeah, trying to stare down and reflect one of those projectiles is not daunting because its fast or slow, its because alot of folks lose reaction time because of the graphical lag.
You have to waste an entire clip to take down a goddamn minisentry.
Just discovered an exploit with the new rocket launcher. If you're about to lose the match, charge, and then when you lose the rocket launcher will still be charging, so you rocket will fire after you've lost the match.
"We have no good weapons for the Engineer... yet we just made new animations for these Soldier weapons when we could have made new animations for the Engineer to use these weapons. It doesn't make a lot of sense but we're Valve, so fuck you." I think the TF2 team has lost their fucking minds. First the hats, then artstyle breaking weapons, then the paints 90% of which are awful, free to play nastiest, they're nerfing underpowered weaponry and letting the OP shit go through until people complain, and finally this garbage of giving the Soldier four packs in a row, with a fifth on the way, and still nothing new for the Engineer. I was going to write up a huge "Why?!" on this, with all the details of what they've done for Soldier that they should have done for Engineer, but I'm sure every single point has already been mentioned in this thread. [i]Twice[/i]. No. I won't. I'm calling for a boycott on Soldier as of this moment. If you main Soldier? Stop. Stop playing Soldier. They want a Soldier? Go Demo. Or Heavy. Fuck, go Engineer if you really wanna help. And when other players ask why explain. Take it a step further and troll Soldier players and tell them why. Fuck it, Valve likes the Soldier so much? How will they like it when there are only EIGHT classes and Soldier isn't one of them, [i]by player choice?[/i] I know I'm not going to even think about the Soldier class until Engineer gets something that isn't a goddamn hat or misc. And no bullshit promotional items either. Anyway, what the hell is this promoting anyhow? Some new game?

The New RL has another downside nobody seems to have mentioned yet. It is not affected by the Kritzkrieg, or end of round crits or the crits you get after capping the intel.

Somewhat like a retired athlete, it doesn't take an active player to be able to tell what might not be such a great idea. Yes, it greatly helps to be active such that they would get an experience of the changes, but inactivity doesn't suddenly make that player's sentiments and suggestions null.

The instant he goes to chase him, he runs away. If he goes to do something else, the sapping continues. Yes, the Spy is a soft-counter to the Engineer, but that sort of mechanic is frustrating for players to deal with. It's not exactly imbalanced, just really annoying.

I think this thing has 5 rockets specifically so that a charged shot takes fucking forever to come back from. Also its not art style breaking or unfitting at all it fits right in with 1960's Science Fiction Weaponry.
