Having played competitavely before, i'd say it won't be a new gamemode, but changes such as maybe clan system? The restrictions on the sandman and such and maybe even some new maps?
Sandman needs to stay as is, all the bitches can continue bitching if they really feel like they have to.
Personally i think sandman is underpowered, and that's coming from a scout that hates the damn thing, I really hope valve doesn't just take everything the comp players say and slap it into the game without asking the pubbers.

I'm not saying im pro or some shit, just that I can see why the sandman is banned.
For one if a scout just randomly launches it into the enemy and it hits the enemy medic, he will be stunned and will probably be easliy taken down, same for most classes.

I agree, when it comes to public servers. But when playing 6v6, the uber is the only thing that makes you push, and having to wait for a new uber again because a scout threw a tiny ball at you is kinda boring. It makes it stupid for BOTH teams, and I see how pubbers don't understand how vital the sandman is because in public a uber happens every so often, that nobody seems to care about it.
I think valve are gonna change it in pubs anyway. Just because the flow break is a pretty big no in game design.
Valve have been changing the code of the FaN and the teams seem to like it better.

This pretty much also anyone who hasent played a proper 9v9 game should hang himself, i played it at 2am with drunk swedes and nothing beats it

Just checked out that thread and:
[confirmed] Pistol now fires at the rate of 1 shot per 0.175 seconds while holding down attack button
Even though it's ALMOST half the speed, it does mean skinners can (or bad compilers such as me) can make machine pistols to replace them :D
I also liked the idea of the almost fireproof suit, but to me the revolver is my tool of destruction. I only pull out the knife on occasions were a class that WILL own me in combat is standing still with his back to me.

That may be good for offensive ambush engy's, but then it should have a REALLY high build speed. Like almost in an instant considering that LVL1 Sentries can be killed by anyone, but still are usefull. Engy with shotgun and a bait LVL1 sentry is deadly
IMO the fire suit is for noob spies. The revolver is just too good.
