[confirmed] The heavy appears to have gotten a KGB replacement of sorts that makes him go around pyro speed when their out. This would explain the "vanguard party" achievements that were popping up earlier.
ROOOLLLERR SKAAATTEEESSS.... It was the classic joke right before his update.
The Heavy is going to look silly running so fast.
I seen Heavies been runnin 'round faster than them Scoots.
I want the Pyro to get something sweet as.
Fireproof suits? That's ridiculous, Pyros are supposed to beat spies hands down, that's like giving the engie a device that nullifies ubers and sappers.

Agreed. Spies shouldn't drop dead whenever the flame even touches them. They'll still be bloody obvious to everyone, but pyros wont be popping dozens of spy kills just by spraying everywhere, they'll have to finish the lighted up spies with axtinguisher or shotty.
Or. more likely, have Pyros chasing Spies around half the map trying to burn them to death until the Spy turns around and revolvers them
Or. more likely, have Pyros chasing Spies around half the map trying to burn them to death until the Spy turns around and revolvers them
The spy doesn't have a revolver if he takes the suit though.
Then we have an endless loop scenario...

I wouldn't mind if it did the same amount of damage but the spy didn't catch on fire, that seems fair.

It seems to me like they're trying to blend regular and competitive TF2. Personally, I don't mind, TF2 has amazing potential to be a good competitive game, but the whole two soldier, two scoot, etc. thing is kind of bad. It's like how MLG took Halo 3 and cut out over half of the content for "balance".

Medics are used because an uber is an incredibly powerful thing. You see other classes from time to time; if a team is locked down somewhere or wants to make a push, they'll often send in a Sniper or Spy to take down the enemy Medic. Heavies and the occasional Pyro are often used to defend Gravelpit C. Most teams will have an Engineer defending Gravelpit B. They're situational because they either lack mobility (Sniper, Engineer, Pyro, Heavy) or because they're weak against aware players (Spy).
Or a shield that stops backstabs :downs:
Oh fucking touché
Or a shield that stops backstabs :downs:
But slow-on-a-train! The knife is a melee (tertiary) weapon! The spy's primary is his revolver!
But slow-on-a-train! The knife is a melee (tertiary) weapon! The spy's primary is his revolver!
But he uses it to one-shot enemies, and his "grinding" achievement is for 1000 backstabs. Or sapped buildings, but that one's just silly. If you're a spy in a favorable situation (ambushing a team pushing a kart ect) would you use your primary weapon against the unsuspecting team or your melee weapon that has very high potential for killing most of the enemies?
But slow-on-a-train! The knife is a melee (tertiary) weapon! The spy's primary is his revolver!
Actually, according to the animations (and the loadout menu IIRC), the revolver is his secondary. He doesn't have a primary.
joke
Huh.... ah. A joke. I was just defending my point of view. Oh wait. Eheheheh.
The FAN normally isn't good. I've killed my share of the gunwielding runners. Problem is, every once in a while you'll come across a GOOD FAN player, who has near perfect aim that will push you towards the wall, making you inable to chase after him to perhaps click off a shot or two on him while he flees. He repeats this by running behind cover and reloading until you die.
Actually, according to the animations (and the loadout menu IIRC), the revolver is his secondary. He doesn't have a primary.
His watch is his primary weapon.
His watch is his primary weapon.
Actually, they call that one a "PDA."
Or a shield that stops backstabs :downs:
Ah, touché, however, the sniper's protection wears off, does this magic suit's protection wear off? We may never know.
Anyone who likes the fireproof suit idea is a horrible spy, why would a pyro catch you if he never saw you?
Mmphmm...
Anyone who likes the fireproof suit idea is a horrible spy, why would a pyro catch you if he never saw you?
Some of you pyros are really paranoid and spy check the air in a crazy circular motion, getting us cloaked spys on fire while trying to avoid you.
Just make it so it's only a fireproof suit when you're cloaked but you move slower
competitive play? is this turning into fucking MLG? NOOOO just go to a pub server or go play Galo 3. if it is competitive and gonna be realeased they should sell the Comp version as 5 dollar charge for those certain servers so the fun TF2 doesnt get horded with pubfags... oh god wait, I can see it now. Freaky Friday with MLGfags! shiiiit I hate you Robin Walker
