N for change class M for change teams , for open loadout . for open backpack G for spray F for call Medic E for taunt B for explode T for voice chat, if that was the non-default option. K for previous disguise and V for use
F - inspect shows the items what player has equipped good for detecting spies
Isn't that cheating?
Isn't that cheating?
No. It's a feature that you can bind from the options menu. For me: Shift - When pressed pulls out melee weapon, when released, goes back to primary. Q - Toggles between secondary and primary. F - Use. That's about it. Oh and for Engineer: F1 - Builds sentry/destroys sentry, depending on if "b" or "d" mode is set. F2 - Same as F1 but with dispenser. F3 - Same but teleporter entrance. F4 - Same but teleporter exit. Mouse 3 - Toggle "b" and "d" mode. I might edit it to toggle b and d mode from the function key itself, but I don't know. If anyone wants this script just ask.
e - Forward w - strafe left r - strafe right a - duck m2 - back m3 - reload m4 - quick switch
I got fairly used to my dad's controls back in the days of Quake, but I changed them around a bit. Mouse 1 and 2 move forward and backwards. Z and X are strafe keys C for crouch Spacebar to jump Control to shoot A for secondary fire J, K, and L for the various voice menus H to drop flag Q for voice chat Everything else is default
lesse i got j binded for "need a dispenser here" i got p as "kill" i got o as "explode" ummmmmmmm i got f for "team disquise"
I sometimes use an xbox 360 controller :v:
bindall explode
Y for +use, F for SPY, G for thanks, H for taunt, Backspace for Kill, Page Up for YES, Page down for No, K for Talk and L for team talk.
M1 to fire. Wheel for second fire. M2 to jump. Arrow to move (I'm left handed, my mouse in on the left of the keyboard, so the Arrow are better to move) KP Inser to reload. Numeric keyboard for some vocalize (thanks, spy, incoming...) Del for last weapon. Backspace to call MEDIC ! Here's the most important.
Backspace is call for medic (My mouse has five buttons, two of which seem to be considered other keyboard buttons, one of them being backspace).
Now this is interesting. I got a mouse with 5 buttons that bind perfectly fine in everything but Source games. In TF2, HL2 and the like, the buttons 4 and 5 can't be bound to anything. I contacted Steam Support but in the end the problem remained unsolved. So you bind something to backspace and it'll really bind to a mouse button? Or did I get you wrong?
I've just swapped crouch and reload. I honestly don't see how you're suppose to crouch jump with having to stretch to CTRL. Maybe my keyboard layout is slightly different...
F1: War cry F2: need a dispenser here F3:Inspect key F4:console F: Sentry ALT: destroy sentry and select slot 1 M3: Melee/slot 3
I switched the medic button with the last weapon button. Thats pretty much it.
Oh yeah, ' is quickswitch, y is normal chat, t is team.
I have "No" binded to N. :v:
Q: Switch between primary/secondary Mouse3: Class-specific special (like spinning pyro) Mouse5: Hold for melee Otherwise defaults.
I use default controls for the most part. Shift is crouch. Control is god damn finger yoga. I do not understand how fingers can bend that way.
Arrow: Up: tele exit down: entrance left: sentry right: dispencer KP: 1-9 = voice enter = suicide+message Graphics fixing: [ = hud fix ] = universal fix com. Enter = all chat alt = voice chat = is team chat ins = spray mouse4 = reload mouse5 = last disguise B being "lastdisguise random" mouse3 = toggle_duck (usefull as C&D spy or engi)
Oh yeah, O is for impulse 101, n is for noclip. When I was way younger I hardly ever played SP games WITHOUT cheats, so I became pretty good in the field of console commands in my later years.
Builds sentry/destroys sentry, depending on if "b" or "d" mode is set.
Do tell, I want this for battle Engineering.
Custom. Certain mouse buttons for each slot.
Move my keys over to the right one key. Gives me more keys to work with. Instead of WSAD, mine's EDSF. A is crouch and shift is still sprint. Also middle mouse button is reload.
I use default controls except I change the order of the voice command menus and return Crouch to the PROPER control - Shift (how do you freaks break your pinky to use CTRL?). I have huge hands and even so I can't use CTRL comfortably. 'Back in the day', shift was the norm. Oh right, and Mouse 4 and 5 are Kill & Explode respectively. No sense giving people free kills... Low hp? Outnumbered? Run into the crowd and trip over or paste them with your guts.
My custom controls are VERY good, works for any situation. M1 - Fire M2 - Special/whatever F - Crouch (helps for rocket jumping, crouch jumping, etc) M3 - Last weapon (for cycling fast between 2 weapons like the pros do, usually take out primary/melee and switch around with that)
I use default controls for the most part. Shift is crouch. Control is god damn finger yoga. I do not understand how fingers can bend that way.
Stretch, not bend. IDK, I still use crouch
Do tell, I want this for battle Engineering.
I believe it is a set of aliasing like this. //**building mode alias alias buildsent "bind F1 build 3" //Sentry alias builddisp "bind F2 build 0" //dispenser alias buildentr "bind F3 build 1" //entrance alias buildexit "bind F4 build 2" //exit //**destroy mode alias alias destsent "bind F1 destroy 3" //Sentry alias destdisp "bind F2 destroy 0" //dispenser alias destentr "bind F3 destroy 1" //entrance alias destexit "bind F4 destroy 2" //exit //**final bind alias alias buildstuff "buildsent; builddisp; buildentr; buildexit" alias deststuff "destsent; destdisp; destentr; destexit" //**engi mode binding bind "key" "buildstuff" bind "key" "deststuff" Could be shorter but this allows for quick editing that is mindless.
