What are you talking about...?
Doesn't every multiplayer game have a "King of the Hill" mode?

TF2 just got it.
Well then OP, don't play it.
tbh ure kinda dumb imo
You can't wait for the free weekend?
And to those who say "you don't know that yet", be real. It's inevitable.
That or 50%-off TF2 for a weekend.
In which case you have to be fucking cheap to not afford TF2 for $10. Hell, it's actually $10 at retail right now. At least it was at Best Buy when I went there today.
Oh, it will be certainly pretty fun to play, much like Arena. But King of the Hill is an old concept, a bunch of games have it, and I don't even think it fits with the TF2 theme. I was expecting something a bit more original like Payload, possibly some awesome gamemode that would involve zeppelins with cannons.
Think of it, TF2 is set in some kind of industrial/espionage theme, so a company using mercenaries to steal secret blueprints from the other company is perfectly fitting. Same for CP and TC, since those companies will probably want to extend their influence. Same for Payload, sabotage takes a common place in espionage movies.
Now, why the hell would mercenaries kill each other for no reason, other than a central control point? That doesn't make sense, that's why Arena doesn't fit, and same for King of the Hill.
