Why ask the question.
How the Hell did you even think this was a question. I putted that icon "rant" in there for a reason. Still, at least Shugo gave me some interesting info, thanks dude.
My god, you are dense.
I'm a noob, what did you expect.
More like a troll.
More like a troll.
Yeah you turn into one when you have a whole summer of absolutely doing nothing. Then it grows on you. So yeah okay I'll take the hammer.
You can actually turn your Dispenser into a "radio" by replacing the Dispenser's idle sound with a full-length song. The Dispenser will then play that song on repeat.
OK GUYS GET THIS 4th dispenser upgrade adds speakers so you can give people relaxing music/annoying micspam mp3s while they get health and ammo brilliant send to gaben

Someone should make a script that allows soundscapes to use randomly selected music. Nature would be your radio.
I love making the dispenser radio play the acoustic portion of "more gun." Makes me feel right at home in my base.
Someone should make a script that allows soundscapes to use randomly selected music. Nature would be your radio.
I've seen it done and done it myself. Almost every servers blocks all custom sounds to HERP DERP STOP HAXORS FROM CHEATING so there's no point.
Op should use the dispenser radio.

You can just put any mp3 or wav into the music (or any folder) and just play it using the play command. Obviously, sv_pure will let that one down.
Just minimize WMP and play TF2, I did it with Portal.
You can actually turn your Dispenser into a "radio" by replacing the Dispenser's idle sound with a full-length song. The Dispenser will then play that song on repeat.
.Wav file?
I play with full-screen because for some reason, when I play on windowed mode, the game takes too much energy and I can't switch back into the game for some reason that should have been fixed. Also I want a play-list. I bet Valve would've planned a play-list.
Upgrade.
Add this to your autoexec.cfg:
alias "song1" "mutesong; play ui/gamestartup1.mp3; bind MOUSE3 song2" alias "song2" "mutesong; play ui/gamestartup2.mp3; bind MOUSE3 song3" alias "song3" "mutesong; play ui/gamestartup3.mp3; bind MOUSE3 song4" alias "song4" "mutesong; play ui/gamestartup4.mp3; bind MOUSE3 song5" alias "song5" "mutesong; play ui/gamestartup5.mp3; bind MOUSE3 song6" alias "song6" "mutesong; play ui/gamestartup6.mp3; bind MOUSE3 song7" alias "song7" "mutesong; play ui/gamestartup7.mp3; bind MOUSE3 song8" alias "song8" "mutesong; play ui/gamestartup8.mp3; bind MOUSE3 song9" alias "song9" "mutesong; play ui/gamestartup9.mp3; bind MOUSE3 song10" alias "song10" "mutesong; play ui/gamestartup10.mp3; bind MOUSE3 song1" alias "mutesong" "play common/null.wav" bind MOUSE3 "song1"
Pressing the button will play the first song. Pressing it again after the first song has ended will play the next one. And so on and so forth. Change MOUSE3 to whatever key/button you want this bound to. Change each "gamestartupX.mp3" to whatever order you want them to play in. Go to tf/sound/ui and listen to each gamestartup song to see which is which. It doesn't currently copy More Gun (gamestartup10.mp3) to the folder, so to hear that one either YouTube it or use GCFScape.
I edited the code, now when you tap mouse3 it should (in theory) stop playing the current song and start the next. EDIT:
You can just put any mp3 or wav into the music (or any folder) and just play it using the play command. Obviously, sv_pure will let that one down.
What do you mean by sv_pure will let that one down?
What do you mean by sv_pure will let that one down?
He means it'll block it because it's custom content.
He means it'll block it because it's custom content.
Okay. Why did I ask anyway, I only play pure-less servers.
Another method is HLDJ. [editline]02:20AM[/editline] Provided you know how to goldwave.
Shift+Tab -> Open In-Game Web Browser -> Pandora.com/last.fm/stereomood.com
For me i just have itunes opened up and use the remote app on my iphone
for me i just run tf2 with -noborder key on primary monitor and wmp on secondary. Even if you don't have >=2 monitors -noborder still saves time for alt-tabbing
For me i just have itunes opened up and use the remote app on my iphone
iTunes takes up a lot of RAM.
Itunes anybody? I use it

Sorry for the bump, but can't you just access youtube from the internet browser in-game?
i have to put the autoexec in the Cfg folder which is inside the TF folder right?
