But it's public! I guess?
The public search feature isn't added yet.
[editline]3rd July 2011[/editline]
wish http://tf2r.com/search.html actually worked lol
Yeah it's still a WIP.
So it's broken slightly.
[editline]3rd July 2011[/editline]
Once it fully works you'll find it in the navigation bar.
Miz has undergone and fixed a collection of bugs, if anyone is curious we've moved the change list from the about page to it's own news post which can be found at http://tf2r.com/news/change-list.html
A ban system is now in the works, however if we'll need people to mod the place I don't really know.
It's only ideally there for if someone is a right dick and needs removing.
This is really, Really good.
Great Job, it also allows for larger raffles to be managed efficiently. Also, does it support donation raffles, where you donate to enter?

No it doesn't support them as there is no way of tracing them.
More updates:
Ban system added.
Changed some styling.
Live updates now on entry listing and other stuff.
Added some more missing icons.
Don't get banned now.

You could setup a donation system by having raffle runners choose to accept applicants who apply for a raffle, instead of automatic entry.
That way, raffle owners can say "1 scrap to enter!" and approve IDs that give the scrap.

See what Miz thinks.
Personally I don't want those type of raffles being added.

I disapprove. People will become greedy if i will implement that. However, option to pick entries, ill have think about it.
Yeah, that was one of the cons I saw after writing that up.
Picking entries might be nice though, it would help especially in the free item thread.
/v/ seems to like your raffle site.
/v/ seems to like your raffle site.
A few major sites like it, /v/ is just one of them.

Heres one. Done in 10 mins
You should add the "hat raffle" concept:
There's a cost to enter the raffle, your choice of what you pay. Minimum is one scrap.
There are 27 entries available. The more you pay to get in, the greater the chance of winning the hat.
Example:
Host is A.
A puts up the raffle for the hat.
B enters with 1 refined.
C enters with 2 reclaimed.
D enters with 1 refined.
E enters with 1 scrap.
F enters with 2 scrap.
List would be:
1. B
2. B
3. B
4. B
5. B
6. B
7. B
8. B
9. B
10. C
11. C
12. C
13. C
14. C
15. C
16. D
17. D
18. D
19. D
20. D
21. D
22. D
23. D
24. D
25. E
26. F
27. F
Random.org is then used to choose a number between 0 and 28, the winner being whichever number ends up being chosen. The host crafts the hat and sends it to the winner.
Eddy, would you be able to add some kind of report feature?
There are some Steam users who are creating fake raffles just to fuck with people (like http://tf2r.com/key/bsht6.html ).
I bet this thread's so empty just becouse it was named from ,free items" to ,,raffle" thread.
[editline]7th July 2011[/editline]
If i don't find this on top tomorrow morning i'm going to be sad.

I've disabled the website because it is making mysql use 30% of my servers cpu, and it appears that there is a fault in the php coding as well... Perfect thing to happen while i'm on holiday...
And reag, email me when you read this.
Since this isn't as welcome in the FHaIT, I'll make a post here.

Banned for using multiple accounts at the same time.
Um what. I don't have multiple accounts unless you mean this guy which isn't my account. Seriously why would I buy same games for another account when I can just buy them on mine? But it's your decision and all.

Both accounts were logged into the site at the same time on the same IP.
The site automatically bans any accounts found on the same IP to reduce the chance of people using alts in raffles.
If you can explain why both accounts were logged in at the same time we can unban you.
It's easy. We both use the same Wifi across the street and I told him to join, because he doesn't have much new items. I invited him to SteamGifts as well. You don't have to trust me, but I am not lying.
I saw banned people still entering raffles.
Where?
I saw banned people still entering raffles.
