So, I loaded up my broken Xbox 360 version of tf2.

it's a "party mode"

Fuck Birthday Mode
Your girlfriend is not loading properly after 9 years of waiting.
I shouldn't have used dialup.
All I can think of is why does it load up? Some discs just refuse to load if there are scratches. Does the Xbox do something different? Does it depend on the location scratched?
How far did the 360 fall, anyway? I wouldn't imagine if it just tipped over it would RROD and scratch your disc all the hell. Then again, I've never had mine fall. It still has the RROD, though... fucking Microsoft...
Depending on the Xbox, dropping/picking up one while it's reading a disc usually causes it to scratch it to this extent.
Mine does games like that too(Which is why I have it on the side now) and it's ruined around 3-4 games now.
However, since it's GPU is dying(red bars across screen, changing resolution won't fix it) I might just buy a new one.

Valve made the discs odd. This has happened to many people with other games like L4D1 and 2(Except usually errors instead of pink squares).
Yes, the location scratched is what makes it different. Every other non Valve 360 game just refuses to load.
Huh, interesting. I've never seen the 360 menu! I might have to emulate it in a version of FrankenHUD once I have some spare time to breathe.
Oh yes, you finally came back!
[editline]09:23PM[/editline]
Also, I would look to see the menu as well.
Missingno anyone?
This is my first time where I've the chance to see how's the game like on the console!
That looks awesome.
Also Wari you ain't funny bro.
Missingno anyone?
That's what I was thinking too.
Verify your game ca- wait a minute.
Bahh, I can't take the easy way out and copy the definitions from XboxDialogs.res, I'd have to recreate it from scratch. Which, you know, would probably work a little better, but as it turns out I'm impressively busy nowadays. :( Maybe closer to Christmas I can finally push out this damn update (once the Polycount Update has paid it's inevitable toll)
Looks like you found secret Scout campaign.
This have never happend to me. Thats odd. Well i have never got the RROD, only 2 red rings.
That's only overheating, you're quite fortunate. The three or four red rings is incredibly annoying, especially when your 360 is past the warranty date.
4 rings just means that your AV cable is plugged in wrong/it's not working right.
Atleast it runs, can't you take it to a game store that uses a laser to fix disk damage?
But, I would lose party mode. :saddowns:
Looks like you found secret Rong campaign.
Fixed, somehow.
4 rings just means that your AV cable is plugged in wrong/it's not working right.
Oh, right, for some reason I was thinking of just the one red light. Three and one.
That is quite hilarious. and gay.
Sell it. Call it Team Fortress 2: Party Edition.
But there's no party hats!
..."hats"
How are some textures missing?
How are some textures missing?
I guess the laser just can't read the section of the CD where those textures are.
I like the menu on the 360
It doesn't take much to kill disks like that, they are sometimes repairable though
It's like when kids try to make buildings out of Lego and completely disregard colour schemes.
It almost...slightly beautiful. In a horrendously and painfully ugly sort of way.
