Sword and shield don't suit a Scottish Demoman either. But that's okay because Valve added some retarded history for that. For all we know the Soldier could've found it in a museum and bought it or some shit and now uses it as a war helmet.

I got a hatless engy and the texas ten gallon. crafted those to get my one hat i've always wanted (besides ushanka) is the Vintage Tyrolean.
Just crafted a Billycock out of 3 metals, was originally going for a Soldier hat but couldn't resist myself.
My friend got 3 hats at once, the tyrant's helm, the stainless pot and the brigade helm.
i got pissed, idled for a while and finally got the demo's fro.
and my friend crafted the stainless pot and the brigade helm, he got a tyrolean.

I don't think the name should mean anything to a hat.
If the "Tyrant's" part of "Tyrant's Helmet" wasn't in the name, would you have ever described that helmet as portraying him as a tyrant?
I would also like to add that the only other hat that makes almost as little sense as the Tyrant's Helmet does, is the Stove Pipe.
It makes sense now, that we know from the WAR update that the Demo is a millionaire... however the hat was released before that update... why the hell did it fit Demo before the update?
