I agree with not making the map too flashy, I was talking specifically about the snake.

[editline]11:11PM[/editline] jk, but i think i need some help. my map lacks a sub-theme (i.e.: the saws in sawmill or the lumberyard in lumberyard, duh) that gives a meaning to the existance of those structures and most importantly explains why they are fighting over there. suggestions would be greatly appreciated. and if the map wins you can brag about having suggested something for it :buddy:

And that was a tiny detail off to the side. A bigass snake right in the middle of fighting will cause problems. Getting a feel for how much to take away detail as players move away from the market focal point. Still have some textures to align and arches to replace with models.

Just keep going, do not worry.
I love how the arabic theme is a "subtheme" from the traditional desert. It's the fabulousness of "similar, yet different".
