I just wanna see servers running this map 24/7 on 100 different versions. If it's nice for gameplay, those will be some of the best servers ever.

This is going to be the best looking official map, with the worst possible gameplay.
Hey guys, little update. First off PISTONS! [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Cn0x88N-r4[/media] (Sorry for stuttering) They come with 3 different speeds, slow, normal and fast. What you COULD do is have an engineer just lying under the scaffolding, where we can't get, with a helmet over his eyes. As an additional note, music is generally not good, unless it's a crazy map.

Why wouldn't music work in this situation? If the engi is far out of reach, sitting on a ledge and you can hear the faint playing of "More Gun" how is that bad?

The fact remains that people do it, and if you've ever heard two different songs playing at different volumes and paces, you know how unpleasant it can be. But hey, if you wanna put it in, do it, I think it's kinda cool, just... if you do, improve the strumming animation a bit, it looks robotic.

I like the idea of a whole weapons factory type setting. The one gripe I have with it is the molten metal. It's far too yellow in my opinion, and it looks really out of place. I'm not sure if it's just a placeholder but if you were planning on it being final I'd recommend going back and tweaking it a bit. I'd love to give this contest a shot myself but I have no prior experience with Hammer and I'm not really sure how difficult it'd be to learn. I'm afraid that by the time I actually learn how to use it I'd lose a lot of valuable time. If I were to start now I'd already be behind by a couple weeks. Then again, if Hammer is actually quick to pick up then I might actually try my hand at it. I have an idea for a pretty cool art direction for the map that hasn't particularly been done before as far as I know.
