(Not saying it is, I think it's a pretty decent map.) You shouldn't get so worked up about it.

Just getting started building after settling on a theme with artists. Just getting initial block out of the type of geometry needed. Shiny HDR shots won't come until geometry fits gameplay and is sound. Ah, incremental, slow progress.. Looking great, TerabyteS, but IMO, [img]http://img59.imageshack.us/img59/2373/criticisms1.png[/img] Maybe scaling the bricks to be bigger vertically (and horizontally a small amount?) would help.
Hey guys, here is what you missed from FP being down. Basically i reworked the room with the generator to be more factory like. I made a crane to hang over the box rollers, but i might have to size it down a bit. Seems to big. Also the texture is just base colors so bare with me for a sec. Also the shadow seems off as well, will fix that. [img]http://imgur.com/RVPw4.jpg[/img] I also made my own version of concretefloor007 and made it more "warm" to help fit with the floor around it. They don't have any support and seem to be hanging over the edge in a way that's not possible. The rest of the map looks really good though.

Yours is quality, I must say, but overlooked due to its largely being grounded in established tf2 map style. I am reserving judgement on both until I see, and get to try, the finished products.

I officially give up. Autumn theme just isn't gonna work, and I have an idea for my own arena map anyway. Besides, Tera is basically doing what my theme is, only 300,000% better than me :saddowns:
