I tried renaming the welding mask to replace the train hat and it didn't work, so either renaming won't work or it only won't work for that specific hat. Probably the former.

You need to make the dogtags on the actual scout texture to hide them.
I think if someone were to take the stock off the FaN and recreate the animations using the Scout's pistol ones as a base would be incredibly awesome and cool looking.
