I don't know how the premium update to tf2items.com would affect this, but I believe it's safe to assume that it'll make the extension update at lightning speeds.
So, for premium users, it'd allow you to be at work on your laptop with your extension open, checking your backpack at real-time speeds, all in a nice little browser.
