Another problem with engineer packs is Valve made the weird decision to tie buildables to your current melee rather than make a buildables slot, so now you can't pick what melee you want and what sentry you want at the same time, meaning less incentive to add melee weapons, plus any sentry now needs an associated melee, and no other buildables have a logical way to be replaced.

Add another melee that associates with mini-sentries, but with enough positives and negatives so people will still use the Gunslinger too.
The more melees you add, the more people are going to want to use them with the other type of sentry.

Don't care if it takes time and energy, they're gonna have to splash out on the Customisable PDA project.
"Gunslinger 2.0" -replaces the sentrygun with a fast building [b]flying mini-sentry[/b] that hovers above the building spot. -same stats as [b]combat mini-sentry[/b] - +25 hp additional mandatory fix(es) -[b]combat mini-sentry[/b] now regenerates health while idle one can dream
