Let's talk about a few changes. 3 days until it happens - Games

If you honestly merge the trading/FHAIT together, we'll get millions of pages of people begging for items and no actual trading and the raffles will be scrambled everywhere. It's probably stemming from the Humble Bundle fiasco :V

In a merged thread, it will only bog it down more, and make it even harder to moderate.

Plus, the unusual thread isn't just trading, it's also discussion, pricing, pictures, and anything about unusuals.

Maybe you could merge the trading thread with the item values thread.

You're not getting me, FHaIT is getting axed as a community, and we need the aspect of giving away free items and raffles an easy home. The community that dominates the trading megathread will have to adapt, and sort it out. I expect they stay on top of it. You shouldn't merge Unusual thread with Trading one, since it isn't only about trading in Unusual one, we post pictures of unusuals, discuss trades and so on. It's basically unusual hat general discussion thread. Combining it with normal trading thread would make a mess, plus you wont have to search through posts to find unusual trade (or normal one).

Is it understandable price check threads need one thread or it can't do without an unusual counterpart? What about Items for X? was thinking of a merge and people just have to specify which kind of trade they want.

However, I wouldn't say they'll be any less prevalent in a merged thread, and if anything have so many more posts to sift through in a single thread that it will be harder to moderate as opposed to knowing of one thread that may have more off-topic posts than another.

I mean, really, off-topic posts being banned? Thats worse than the "Meme Reply" ban in the photoshop threads.

If the update threads get merged, no one will know if there is a TF2 update or not since it will be constantly update with useful and useless posts, no one will know if its true or not, besides, we always get news faster than other forums as i am aware of. FHaIT should be left aside, i mean, it can't be merged with other threads, they aren't similar/same to it. The trading threads, which i am not much aware of, might need to be mixed or not. TF2 talk/ask/help threads should be merged in one. Emporium aside, that thing is awesome. Other than the things i mentioned, i agree, there needs to be merging or ddting of some unwanted threads
