If FHaIT is really that much of a problem, just delete it. As much as I liked having a place where I could give away my stuff, it isn't really a necessary thread.

Do members opinions still matter to the mods at this point? Because they should.

I'm trying to see things from the mod squad's point of view. Being a mod can be a pretty stressful job, and from what they've told us, FHaIT makes it even more stressful. So we can be mature about this and let the thread die to try and make the mod's jobs easier or whine and cry about it like children.

How a normal thread goes: Topic -> Hey a part of that reminds me of X -> hey yeah it kind does, lol -> topic FHaIT: Topic -> Hey a part of that reminds me of X -> hey yeah it does -> talk about X -> argument about X -> Bans -> topic It's fine to go off topic now and then, it's practically unavoidable really. The problem is FHaIT's seem to get stuck off topic and need to be "reset" with a ban or two. If the people there could learn to return to the topic after a couple of off topic posts without mod intervention I don't think there would be a problem at all.

Admittedly, I haven't been around long, but I've yet to see the thread devolve into off-topic madness. Here's to seeing if they can be good little boys and girls for 22 days, right?

I think it was when Dead Space 2 was out I went into FHaIT for the first time and it was utter chaos. People ended up permabanned

Please don't merge the unusual discussion thread with the trading thread. The unusual trading discussion is alot different from the trading thread. For one, it has a good op that wasn't half assed. (pretender spent 6 hours on it.) for one, its not all trades, its more of a general discussion thread and such where unusual values are easy to get. The unusual discussion thread, when someone does trade, its fair and to the point. I go in the trading thread, see a half assed op, people lowballing, and people who don't even trust middlemen ect. Its poorly made, and honestly should be made to look more professional. It just shouldn't be merged.

My suggestions: New rule: no map release threads, use the mapping megathread (we have one, just bump it) Merge Screenshots, sprays, ms paint threads into the media thread Merge items for games and items for money into trading Close all price check threads. (use unusual or trading threads for price checks) Merge replays thread with video megathread Merge all customization threads into one as for fh&it, I don't know or want to get involved...
