Can you put it on top of the barrel or on the side somewhere?

I have a thing for nostalgia, even if it's implicit and unintentional instead of direct and purposeful.

Some progress on the Handyman, but I'm not liking the collar so far and I might completely redo it. [img]http://i.imgur.com/5j0FW.png[/img] I hate not being able to scale something after I rotate it (or it gets skewed). Edit: and I just noticed that the arm coming off the hand is all messed up, crap. :|

I'm sick of seeing "This is the x slot, only x's can go here" weapons. Considering that it's for the Pyro, it'd be a nice refresher to have a primary that's not a flamethrower. Hell, I'd like to see a different sort of alt-fire on a flamethrower for once, it'd be a whole new animal to tame and put on par with the airblast. Variety, when properly balanced, is fun. I want to see more of it.

I'm doing it the wrong way by making models first and looking for a theme later.

For a start yours is clutching the head which i think is a better idea... also it has the potential to work on other classes... on the Demoman one of the fingers could cover up his eyepatch and on the Soldier it could cover up both etc.

I don't think they would add another weapon slot and i don't support that idea either.

Perhaps highlighting would function as an xor based on the weapon in the slots. So if there are two weapons in a set for the same slot, only one of them needs to be equipped for the thing to be highlighted with the unequipped weapon in the slot being grayed out. Since the highlighting is purely cosmetic, this is probably really low on the totem pole of priorities.
