I'm rather excited to see what new Heavy misc. items will be made following the sleeves. Also, question: Does the Engineer gently caress the underside of the new shotgun when he fires? Because I see no movable pump.
There has been a lot of shit I've considered unfitting, but I think [URL="http://www.teamfortress.com/deus-ex/"]these new ones[/URL] take the trophy for most unfitting TF2 items ever (or should I say yet, knowing Valve?). If I don't make the texture slightly larger than the template I get black lines on the seams. The packer should have put everything as close as it could get and fill in holes, and that's what it did, and that's what it gave me. I don't think I've been this excited for a promo in a while. That stuff actually looks pretty badass (as unfitting as it is.) Hell if they were skins I'd be using them anyway. I can't wait for the inevitable MegaMan arm cannon/Samus arm cannon reskins for Engie's new arm cannon. Unrelated, but would someone be willing to recompile Pyro's c_model arms to be team colored? There are so many team colored skins that could make use of this but don't.

They just couldn't fit less in [B]this[/B] game, imo. Btw. Toned down my above post, since peeps seemed to take it a tad seriously.
Also textured the hat and mask. [img]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/13972822/Halloween/diadelosmuertoscosmetics.jpg[/img] Doesn't look too bad but I'm probably going to have to change the brim or something because I made it way too similar to the Charmer's Chapeau. That's what I get for being lazy. Also the texture on the skull mask needs some work. The shape of the skull means the patterns stretch a little bit. Doesn't look too bad but I'll need to work on it. Also have a plain version with no patterns as a style. No idea how I'm going to jigglebone the little skulls though. I suck at jigglebones.

The brim looks fine, maybe the texture just needs a little weaved looking on the team colored parts?

Remember how old hats with particles used to clip through your camera? Same idea. They simply just aren't compatable. Now with that said, with minimal effort they could easily be added as a bodygroup, but then again, this IS valve we're talking about.

Miscs such as the rogue's col roule, essential accessories, and the pipboy SHOULD be visible in the viewmodel.

I agree, it's retarded as hell, and it should be fixed. But, for once, with these badass-looking models, I have to cut them at least a [i]little[/i] slack. but only a little.
