If you want support how about you listen to when people try to criticize your work to help you get better?
If you want support, how about you listen to when people try to critise your models to help you get better?
I do listen, I just can't differentiate which people are trying to help me and which people aren't. It's not the fact of taking the criticism, I can do that easily. Also, why did you bring this up, you know it's only going to cause drama?
All it does is get rid of the characters, but still has the map pictures, I can't see the original ones.
Are you using a widescreen resolution?
[editline]when[/editline]
I just realized that I forgot to include the widescreen vtf files.
I always manage to screw something up :suicide:

Well i'm sorry if I bring up drama but let me state an example, I remember a while ago, you were modelling the ballista-thing and sparkwire, who I know has problems with you because of old drama or some stupid shit like that, actually criticized your model to try and help you improve it.
You didnt take the advice he offered, simply because it was sparkwire.
He was trying to help you and you didnt take what he was offering.
Lol, your the guy who has gone on and on about how blender is great and made so much drama over which modelling program to use and now your switching, how ironic
People do change their mind from time to time :v:
I fixed the widescreen issue with the backgrounds, re-download and it should work.

With the QuickDraw? Yeah I couldn't tell if he was trying to help me or not because he was giving a badly made (no offense sparkwire) concept picture and I couldn't tell if it was serious or not. It was basically turning it into something I didn't want it to be or it wasn't in the first place. If you are talking about something else, like the Ballista I made, he made points that I took and points that I didn't because he was trying to turn it into something it wasn't. I'm not going to take criticism from a person who essentially told me to scrap it and start a new one after I had a good model already in the making. I liked it and I know quite a few people who liked it, sure it could be better, and I tried my best to make it my best, but I took the criticism that actually helped me into account and the ones that didn't, I didn't. While my own ray of vision isn't perfect, I'm supposed to have the best ray of vision I can have and I took into account the ones I believed would help. Like a reloading function among other things.

I've never said that Blender was better than 3ds, I've always known it to be better and I only said it is a good modelling program, I try my best not to compare the two, but sometimes people tend to do that for me.
Dem ghost pages.

Umm... Here old WIP picture of the junk gun from my scout pack.

I'm thinking of putting the Dick Dastardly Scout set on hold in favor of a Motorhead set for Soldier.
Let's put it to a vote.
Agree= Motorhead Soldier
Disagree= Dick Dastardly Scout
I want to start on the revolver but I'm too tired right now.

To be honest, it looks alot more like a M3 Greasegun than a sten.

Go to bed. Start it tomorrow.

But I don't wanna.

Thats an mp40 an m3a1 and a STEN, they all look similar as they were designed around the same time and to some degree based off each other [sp]m3 is based off STEN which is based off mp-40[/sp]. This thing to me looks like a STEN body on the syringegun's grip. But I do see some similarities to the mp40 (that is ones that the STEN doesn't have).
Can anyone enlighten me as to where the Medic's glasses are in the model/texture files?

A panzerschreck would make a distinctive looking rocket launcher. It'd go well with the Stahlhelm.

can someone make an unusual particle that has peppercat heads? like in the style of confetti?

I know that some of you can see me as boring as hell with my idea of a wheel sentry, but I just made a quick photomontage to show you what I have in mind in game :

First thing : a "remote control arm", that allows the Engy to drive the wheel-sentry wherever he wants... Like the wrangler, the wheel sentry would go where the Engy puts his crosshair...
And :

The Engy is able to put on the ground a kind of antenna that creates a perimeter in which the sentry would patrol by itself, and attack any opponents who enter in that area...
And, I also have an idea for a new cosmetic pack : The Heavy Metal Pack.
Includes :
Patch on the back / medipack

Long hair

And wristbands with spikes

And that's all for today...
Actually, most of the classes are implied to be highly inteligent.
Soldier makes reference to several actual historical events as well as the TF2verse historical events, which must mean he has researched history. Makes sense, the guy hates defeat, so he learns from the past to keep from making those mistakes.
Pyro, despite being a complete enigma, we can say one thing is for sure. He/she/it is a pyrotechnical genius, figuring out how to make working flamethrowers from everyday items.
Demoman, made working bombs at an early age. He's also pretty good with them while drunk. If this man were sober, then god help us when he finally figures out that there are two more barrels in his grenade launcher and thus ups his usable ammo from 4 to 6.
Heavy is stated to have a PhD in Russian literature. Basicly, he's a big librarian with a gun. Also consider that he sounds smarter in the Russian version of Meet the Heavy than he does in the English version.
Engineer has 11 PhDs. 11 PhDs. The only fictional character with more PhDs is Doctor McNinja.
Medic is a doctor. He lost his medical liscense(The thing that let you heal people legally), not his degree.
Spy is multilingual. He speaks English, Italian, French, Spanish and Catalan. Doen't believe me? Check the the Official Wiki. There is also the fact that you say the French stereotype is a surrendering coward. Guess what? The French have the third large nuclear stockpile on the planet, and are know for their military might. Hell's, it's why they've survived for hundred of years despite wars with Britain, Spain, and Germany.
Scout and Sniper are the only ones implied to not have any higher learning. Scout because he's like 17, and Sniper because it is directly stated he stayed in the Outback for several years.
So there.
You also should note that the medic is the man who pretty much invented a way to near instantly heal people from bullet/shrapnal/broken bones AND he invented a way to make people invincible for a short duration of time.
He is pretty much Dr.Frankenstien of the TF2 Universe. His own excessive, morbid curiosity and the knowledge that trying to give a patent 4 arms doesn't go down well with anyone else around him is probably the reason he isn't truely "certified smart".
The Sniper while isn't as smart, he certainly knows how to make weapons out of what he has got or can get. The Razorback, Jarate, Shiv and the Dangershield are all prime examples of this, Hell even the Bazaar Bargain can be put under this, that is if the polycount discription is canon.
The Sniper really should be considered a "procure-on-site" expert, give the man a sniper rifle or even a bow and he'll make an armory out of everything else he can get his hands on.
And with a bit more thinking, the sniper would probably have a near encyclopedic knowledge of animals & plant life, specially as he is a hunter of big game and has lived in the wilderness for countless months on end.

the neck is missing mostly fo functionality with getting his head cut off.
