Is it possible to make a draw animation for a c_model? If it is then this animation practice won't be wasted.

If it is possible, we could also properly implement LaroLaro's original concept for the Short Circuit. That's really the touch that would have made the promo say "Deus Ex".
Oh look, you're trying to act smart to disguise your anger!
But seriously, your models look really bad. You should get some more practice at modeling.
Maybe if you actually told me why they looked bad that would help.

Good job acting like a dick.
You could atleast tell him why his models suck and how he could improve rather then just say "HERP YOU SUCK AT THIS"
Also I believe he was using sarcasm in responce to your vague, dickish comment rather then masking anger.
Oh look, you're trying to act smart to disguise your anger!

Allright then. Lets see you do better.
EDIT: See i know i cant do better, Thats why i can only make suggestions.
Look at it.
Look at that skull. It looks low-poly and awful.
It has to be low poly. Hell, the flamethrower as a whole is 9,112 triangles and optimized as best as I can.
Oh look, you're trying to act smart to disguise your anger!

It's hard to denigrate a guy who made a character model replacement, rigging and all. Besides, it's not like he can always make a V2 or anything...
It has to be low poly. Hell, the flamethrower as a whole is 9,112 polys and optimized as best as I can.
That, And it should never really be in your face enough for you to notice its low poly, its at the end of the gun so no one will really be seeing it long enough to say its bad.
Not that argument again.
It's a pointless argument. If a chef in a restaurant makes you a bad meal, they don't tell you to make a better meal than them.
Because in the real world you run the risk of being slapped in the face, or worse.
Better start my shipment of boxes

Agreed; that's a bloody terrible argument.
That being said, you're still a dick.

If a chef in a restaurant is making bad meals, he really shouldn't be there in the restaurant now should he?
Your argument is invalid.
How about a camera with a strap around the scouts neck?
Replaces dog tags?
It has to be low poly. Hell, the flamethrower as a whole is 9,112 polys and optimized as best as I can.
Is that a polycount or a tricount? The latter gives you a better metric for budgeting.
How about a camera with a strap around the scouts neck?

for the longest time reading this over i thought you meant a video camera.
Is that a polycount or a tricount? The latter gives you a better metric for budgeting.
Sorry I meant tri count. Fixed

The plate at the end should pop outwards.
for the longest time reading this over i thought you meant a video camera.
Video camera, picture camera, doesn't matter.
The plate at the end should pop outwards.
It does I think, hard to tell.
It does I think, hard to tell.
The entire assembly at the end pops out, but the plate stays in place relative to that.

Oh, k.
Actually if I could add some criticism to the dragon, could you post an image of front and side views of it please?

I just realized that I forgot to give credit to myself on my Unusual+ download button. I made the small change.

Sorry for the mistake.

I think the zing one would be more different than the gunslinger, so more identifiable. Also i want to make a robot arm for the zombie sentry!
You also should note that the medic is the man who pretty much invented a way to near instantly heal people from bullet/shrapnal/broken bones AND he invented a way to make people invincible for a short duration of time.
He is pretty much Dr.Frankenstien of the TF2 Universe. His own excessive, morbid curiosity and the knowledge that trying to give a patent 4 arms doesn't go down well with anyone else around him is probably the reason he isn't truely "certified smart".
The Sniper while isn't as smart, he certainly knows how to make weapons out of what he has got or can get. The Razorback, Jarate, Shiv and the Dangershield are all prime examples of this, Hell even the Bazaar Bargain can be put under this, that is if the polycount discription is canon.
The Sniper really should be considered a "procure-on-site" expert, give the man a sniper rifle or even a bow and he'll make an armory out of everything else he can get his hands on.
And with a bit more thinking, the sniper would probably have a near encyclopedic knowledge of animals & plant life, specially as he is a hunter of big game and has lived in the wilderness for countless months on end.
Ah yes, how can I forget the device that heals instantly despite Engie making the prototype. The Dispenser. Designed by him. Built by him. But let's not dwell on that because Medic made it better. Engie could really only heal wounds, and even then, slowly. Medic basicly took a broken dispenser, searched for the healing device and made it handheld. Kinda explains why the stock Medi-gun looks like it has duct tape on the barrel. Also explains how Engie's hand didn't grow back when he cut off his hand for the Gunslinger.
Sniper, I'd say his animal knowledge is like that of Muldoon(The "Clever girl" guy) from Jurassic Park. He really only knows how they behave, especially their behavior when being cut up by a kukri.
If on-sight procurement is his speciallty, then all hell will break loose when he figures out about exploding bullets and bullets that cause deadly burns. Or how to combine the Bushwaka and Shiv with Jarate to make so sort of hell knife that covers you in piss before making you bleed electricity. I think he may very well be a secret evil genius.
I updated the big paint fix. The hard counter now uses the white texture method.

I think the zombie sentry hand could be something like a broken down version of the Gunslinger. Because zombies rot, so a coroded(basicly metal rot) robot hand would make the cyborganic sentry*.
*Yes, the zombie sentry is a cyborg, because it is made from organic parts(the brain and eye) and machine parts(The gun, ammo).

i like the glove idea, but it needs to look more related to the sentry, wich i think the robot hand does better with the lights.
and for the zombie hand it would be cool with a robofied skeleton hand
Alright, I'm about tired of using Blender, not to say it is bad, but I've always seen it as the hobbyist's program and I really want to get better so I can one day do this professionally. It's been suggested that 1-2 months of dedication would be required before I can make models at the same quality I make them now. But that's aimed at people who are completely new to 3D and such, and I consider myself a fast learner, so I'd think it'd take about half a month to 1 month before I can make models of the caliber I'm making them now, and since I'm already at a break for modeling, I'd say this is a good time to learn. What I'm basically asking is if there is anybody here how'd like to teach me? (the times are also aimed at using tutorials and the whatnot, I've always HATED tutorials and never liked them because they never said the things that I needed, so an actual reference would be awesome, so I'd probably learn a helluva lot faster with one)
little late of a reply, but
Switching modeling programs will not make you better. I'm not saying that you should not buy a more professional program like Max (because if you truly do want to do this professionally, it is not a bad idea), but I am saying that if you can only draw this:

in ms paint, you are not going to suddenly be able to do this:

in photoshop.
The program is not going to get you there - you are going to have to work very hard at it.
That said, good luck

there's something confusing me about that, engineer claims to have designed the sentry, but in the engineer update his grandfather has the blueprints for it...
