How does a massive Russian that has an intense fascination with high-powered weaponry fit into the hipster culture? The only character that could be considered "hip" is the Scout, and even then you're pushing it.

For one thing, I believe the minigun has already been done. The other two suggested weapons don't really give off a hipster vibe; though I understand the references they're too subtle. And you could do one for scout, but someone's already done some hipster hair and glasses for him.
But that's okay, you haven't started yet, this would be a good time to consider other options. Even though Valve has shown they don't care about their own style anymore, I personally believe modders should be, well, better than Valve.
