Never EVER contribute this. It's just so good it'll get official in weeks. And we don't need a new demoknight pack. Well, ok, we need THIS pack. But not more.

Ok, I compiled the knife for YER and Big Earner, and the pistol for Ambassador and Enforcer. Just give me a minute while it uploads to dropbox and you can download and use them.
Finally got Studiomdl.exe to stop crashing on me, enjoy your sexy spy coat.

I had to use Paint.NET's .vtf plugin to convert the textures from TGA to VTF so the Alpha channel got a bit screwed up, but it's not that bad.
Click that link, open the .rar, put the materials and models folders in your tf folder.

I'm back from the dead. Out of the 3000+ posts I missed, was there anything important?

I didn't recall anyone requesting me to release it and i thought you guys didn't like it. Also hopeful that i'll be doing the promos myself from now on. (needs getting used to it)
Right, bit of a pickle here.

I can get it to blend seamlessly with the rest of the model if I change it to UnlitGeneric and omit the part of the vmt that lets the collar be paintable, but if I leave that in the vmt, the jacket loses its selfillum ability and goes all crazy.
Halp?

Looks fine to me that way. But you can try using a differnt texture to use as your selfillum basetexture so to avoid using one texture for all the other processes.

remodeled the spitfire shotgun a bit here. Shortened the muzzle slightly, but still longer than the stock shotty. (i like it long. If i can play ambush heavy i do think Pyros out there would find it easy to ambush people even with this long barrel [in short: deal with it]) Moved the gas can (if you didn't notice) and made it shorter. I made it smaller earlier but i didn't feel it was interesting enough compared to this cumbersome size. Joking aside, comments and "flamings" are encouraged. :D

The location of the gas canister looks dangerously close to where the Pyro's upper arm will go through. At the least, it looks like it might clip through the wrist on the hand that's holding the pump. It just looks iffy in it's current position.
Also, do be careful about clipping while reloading. I'm pretty sure the Pyro tilts the bottom of the shotgun towards it while loading shells into the shotgun, so having something too large on the bottom of the shotgun might clip into its chest. I cannot fully recall the Pyro's shotgun reload animations in world view, so it might not be an issue...Although if it was done Quake-style, there wouldn't be any reloading like the Widowmaker, but that's really up to Valve. If it does clip while reloading, put a note about it when submitting it, they might make it have noreload or something v:v:v
update on pyro's dog muzzle probably going to end in 2 styles paintable or brown, also removed the pyro symbol, critiques?

How long is it in comparison to the regular shotgun? Also the pump doesn't look like it has has enough room to be pumped, the handle at the back looks odd too
Well, mapping on the Westerly Wagon Wheel isn't going well. I can't get pelt mapping to do a single thing (though I'm told it's probably the best way to map something), it just sits there motionless while it's pelting (and doesn't seem to be pelted at all), and then relaxing just rotates different parts over and over into a garbled mess. :| I've followed tutorials and I don't know wtf I'm doing wrong here.
Hotlinked for massive image size.

I think this is brilliant, one of the best designs for a pyro weapon i've seen.
I liked the original dullness of the canister though I thought it looked more battle-ready, also I think Spitfire as a name doesn't do it justice.
Other than that it's awesome!
