I did not notice this, and when I released it on my community forum nobody said a thing. Thank you for spotting that! Though I'm not exactly sure how to go about fixing that now. :| Took me FOREVER to get it to work and I made it forever ago. xD
I'll take a look at it and see what's up.
Edit: I found out why, the demo's hair part (which is supposed to be black), is actually a very dark brown instead of black, and thus gaining a slight tint upon it. Making a fix now and will update link in a bit.

You can if you'd like. I like the pic I have for the Filtered Fiend, but the Steak Stake might need repositioning, I'm not sure. Add me on steam and I can get you the compiled version so you can get a better snapshot.
The Filtered Fiend will be harder for something like that, the actual model does not include the pyro's head, so I made a version where it was the pyro's head with all the filters just for that screenshot, then reverted back to just the filters for the final model.

Your paint is set up to work with the alpha channel, correct? Make sure that the alpha is set to 0% for the hair, or it will tinge that as well.
