Now, I feel out of place being in here, seeing as I can do only Photo-shopping (2d art only really...) and hand sketches, but as we've seen there hasn't been a large amount of scout primary weapons released (actual in game, not the very nice models on here that we see and are shared). Yes the soda popper was recent, but I feel there could be another, I was thinking around the terms of something like this..

Obviously outrageously cartooned, but point being, it firing slugs, instead of pellets. ( not sure if thats really possible but its tf2 so no matter..)
Perhaps, It'd fire both rounds within seconds, so no matter what you have to make shots count, they can go for higher crits / mini crits to air born (seeing as its a hunting rifle, also used for clay pigeon training / skeet shots) same amount of carried ammo as the fan, no force applied to the target like the fan, but heavier damage, with a timed fuse almost in a sense.
That's just an Idea..
edit: What if the scout (obviously this wouldn't work unless releases publicly) screamed 'PULL' every time he was about to shoot, hence, no camping..
